Valentine Watermarble with Girly Bits and Pretty Serious

I was so smitten by the Girgly Bits Fall collection, that I went back to the shop and purchased every cream Pam had for sale. I'm happy to report that Hoosier Daddy and Lover's Coral both watermarble just as well as those fall shades!

Girly Bits: Law of Attraction

Girly Bits' contribution to the upcoming Polish Pick up is inspired by Rainbow Hematite (which is magnetic).
It has no cap and releases on Friday, January 5th at 11am EST to Monday, January 8th at 11:59pm EST at polishpickup.com

Law of Attraction is a strong multi-chrome which shifts vividly from a vibrant fuchsia, to violet, through teal and navy blue, with added iridescent glitter with a copper/gold/green shift, green/copper/violet iridescent flakes.

I wore two coats with topcoat. The formula was smooth with easy application.

xoxoJen's swatch of Girly Bits: Law of Attraction

Both polishes cover well and could potentially be one coaters, but I've used two due to bright lighting. Formula for each was smooth and easy to apply, no issues to report.

I hope you've enjoyed the review and photos - snag yours this Sunday morning after 8am Central over at http://polishconvention.bigcartel.com/products. They're available 9/10-9/16.

August Hella Holo Customs: Lacquester

I am honored to be one of this month's guests for the Hello Holo Customs group on facebook. The brands featured in August are KBShimmer and Lacquester. The pre-order launch is open now through September 5th and you'll need to be a member of Hella Holo Customs to get the purchase links for each polish.

The color descriptions italicized are provided by the brand and my comments are beneath each of them.

xoxoJen's swatch collage of Lacquester HHC Polishes

Bingo Flamingo
a coral based polish with gold shimmer, tiny (flat) holographic glitter and a subtle scattered holographic finish.

Super vibrant coral, almost neon. The gold shimmer really pops in bright lighting. I wore three coats to ensure no vnl in photos, but it was mostly opaque in two.

I Lilac You
a spectraflair holographic base with lots of blue/violet and pink glow particles with a scattered holographic finish. Used with a top coat it will be totally smooth.

Absolutely stunning and super sparkly, this polish glows! I wore two coats with topcoat.

Poppy Like It's Hot
a mint/blue base with gold/orange/red multichrome flakies, small holographic glitter and a scattered holographic finish. Used with a top coat it will be totally smooth.

The base, to me, is a medium teal shade. Loving this one so much, I'm wearing it for Jason's birthday tomorrow. The shimmer, multichrome flakes and holo sparks add complexity and interest. I wore two coats and topcoat.

xoxoJen's swatch of Lacquester Poppy Like It's Hot

Each of these have fantastic formula, beautiful packaging and are opaque in two coats. I'm still wearing Poppy Like It's Hot, but I didn't notice any staining on removal of the other two. All were smooth to the touch after topcoat was applied.

Also available are the polishes from KBShimmer that I reviewed yesterday.
