xoxoJen's 3D Technique with KBShimmer: Happy Camper

Hi ya'll! I created a really cool 3D look with KBShimmer's Happy Camper polish last year and had totally forgot to share it! I love the effect, and it's so subtle that it would still be appropriate in formal settings. It can be done with any cream polish that can stamp!



1. Do your nails as usual with a light cream shade. (dark ones may hide the shadow effect)
2. Top coat or use a glitter tamer three to four times.
3. After completely dry, stamp with the same cream polish.
4. Top coat over that.
This technique can be done over a few days or several hours to allow the extra layers to dry well. It creates a shadow for a 3D effect and is not a double processed stamp. :)

I noticed the 3D effect in 2015 when I was doing the black lace saran wrap nail art in a challenge and just never tried to replicate it until 2021. I'm regretting not having attempted it again sooner because it is so cool and easy to do! I hope you enjoy the xoxoJen 3D technique!

Pink, Purple, and Black Nailart

I did some nail art back in May for the closing celebration of a year long leadership program that I was selected for at work. The swag we got was black and pink/purple, so I did nails to match. I cannot recall what products I used, but thought I'd share since its different from the usual swatches I do. Photos of both hands, ya'll! Enjoy!

Lollipop Posse: Winter Nailart

Inspiration comes at odd times and in many different forms for me. Today, while I was removing this PPU polish from the first nail, I was inspired. I quickly removed the same amount of polish from my other nails and created this look with a few snowflake stamps. What do you think?



The tips are half removed Lollipop Posse's Let Me Hold It Lightly from the upcoming PPU launch for November. I stamped over with a simple white cream and snowflake images from various Aliexpress plates.

Tonic: I'm So Fancy Nailart

I reviewed the I'm So Fancy base coats yesterday, and today I'm sharing a little secret about them...

They both stamp!! And they both look great over black!!

On my index finger is two coats of I'm So Chill and it's stamped on my middle finger, both over black.
On my ring finger is I'm So Sweet stamped and two coats on my pinky, both over black.



And OMG the matte!



I have only tried these over black, but the possibilities are limitless!

Tonic: Neon Brights Water Marble Nail Art

Shall we get this party started? The upcoming Tonic Neon Brights glow under blacklight and they watermarble!



Bottle shots anyone? I was so excited when these glowed under my black light, that I squealed out loud!



And then, I had to do a watermarble!
I used one coat of I'm So Sweet for my base.



And of course, immediately put it under a blacklight!

Shown is Tonic Grateful as the base color, then stamped with a medium and dark green from MDU, and fill painted with the two green and a fuchsia from MDU. The plate is the same plate I used for my Tiger King nailart, HK-06 from AliExpress.

A black based polish with orange to green shimmer and loaded with orange to green and red to purple iridescent flakes.

One coater! Super reflective flakes in a dark mysterious base. Shown is one coat with topcoat.







Night Owl Lacquer - A Grave Misunderstanding
Inspired by Corpse Bride
A greyed out bright green crelly loaded with violet/blue/green ultrachrome chameleon flakes.

Beautifully done polish! I had been wishing for a green with flake just like this ever since I began loving Matcha Green Tea and this fits the bill perfectly! Shown in two coats. I paint fairly heavy handed, so three coats may be needed if using thinner coats.






Turtle Tootsie - Jack The Pumpkin King
Inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas
a rich purple holographic polish loaded with gold/green and copper/ green chameleon flakies.

Purple sparkly polish? Yes please! The sparkle in this is over the top ya'll. Shown is two coats with topcoat.






The Nailart below was done with all three polishes as a gradient base and then topped with Ribbits Stickets themed decals.

Atomic Polish: Neutral Cream Collection

Atomic Nail Polish is launching four neutral shades September 13!
She also sent her white cream shade to me, so it is included here as well!




H (Hydrogen)
a white creme nail polish. Shown is two coats with Atomic's quick dry topcoat. We all know that white cream polishes are typically streaky and pull at the cuticle while painting it on. This one's formula doesn't pull and was easy to apply. It also stamps well!





Shown stamped over Vanadium




Neutrals collection

Al (Aluminum)
This polish totally looks the color of silly putty, leans slightly pink. Shown is two coats with Atomic glossy lemon scented topcoat.





Sc (Scandium)
A slightly lighter shade than Al with a warmer tone. Shown is two coats with Atomic glossy lemon scented topcoat.





Si (Silicon)
A very warm neutral cream shade. Shown in two coats with Atomic's quick dry topcoat.





V (Vanadium)
A medium grey cream. I love a good medium grey, they seem to be kind of hard to find. Shown is two coats with Atomic topcoat.





They also watermarble!
Shown is Scandium and Silicon watermarbled over Hydrogen.




I mentioned Atomic's topcoats and all of these are also shown over their sticky base coat. I'll be reviewing all three of those when I have had a chance to test, so stay tuned for that!
