Each polish below is shown in two coats unless otherwise stated. The formulas for each of these is consistently fantastic, as we have come to expect from KBShimmer.

Taupe Notch
A crelly base with holo flecks and rose gold shimmer that adds a warm glow to this shade.

The perfect nude, office appropriate shade or base for nail art and it's glowy. Can't get better than this!






I’ll Be Chrome For Christmas
Christmas in a polish. Like the tatters of wrapping paper, multichrome flakes in shades of red, gold and green pop against the snowy white base.

I fell fast and hard for this polish. It really is reminiscent of Christmas.






So Cordial
A warm hued Christmas red shade gleams with a semi metallic finish. Micro holo flakes add sparkle to the red shade.

My favorite in this collection. Yes, this polish is so breathtaking that I like it more than the purples and greens, ya'll. It is so glowy and the contrasting shimmer is insane! It tricks the eye as to what color it really is. I did my best to capture all that bizness, but to be fully appreciated it needs to be seen in person. Do not skip this one, fair warning.






Santa Claws (Magnetic Charity Polish)
Each year KBShimmer chooses a charity close to their heart to donate to. This year they have chosen the Terre Haute Humane Society. As a parent of three adopted cats, Christy is thrilled to be able to donate $4 from each bottle sale of Santa Claws to this wonderful organization! Santa Claws is a magnetic polish that looks like a bronze gold polish with red background, then when you use with the magnet, a green background sets off the red magnetic accent, while hints of gold shine through with a dusting of holo glitter.

I don't think I have seen a magnetic like this one to date. It's eleventy colors all at once, and the shades are unique to a multichrome type polish. Seriously - red, green, bronze, blue and purple! How is this even possible? Get one and give to a great cause, all in one purchase!








Sweater Weather
The bright green polish is almost metallic with pops of micro holo flakes that seem to light it up!

Cousin to my favorite, So Cordial, this polish is vibrant and glowy as well. Together, they could create some killer nail art!

I Cat Even
A deep navy blue linear holo that in some lights looks blurple.

Dark enough to be legit navy yet light enough to not look like black. As the light hits the holo flame there's this beautiful indigo shade that just pops!






Space-ial Edition (Magnetic)
a deep purple polish with a galaxy's worth of holo flakes and strong blue shimmer. When used with a magnet, the shimmer gathers like the Milky Way.

So love the purple-ness in this and how it shifts between that and blue while the magnetized shimmer seems to float and move.







Love Thy Selfie
Multichrome flakes shift from a rich indigo, to royal purple, fuchsia and magenta. Also try sponging this on for full coverage.

On Cloud Wine
A red leaning grape jelly polish. Shifting flakes swim in this jelly base, morphing from shades of teal to purple and fuchsia.

I really like this and when topped with one of the flakes (shown above with Flake Expectations) it gives that 3-d style like looking into a purple jelly pond.






Fuchsia-nista
A bright mix of multichrome flakes that start with fuchsia, and shift into hues of purple, magenta and orange. Also try sponging this on for full coverage.

KBShimmer: Falloween Collection

KBShimmer's Falloween collection is packed full of a variety of polishes in seasonal shades and finishes. The collection was inspired by colorful fall leaves, kids in costumes, and all things pumpkin. Join me in celebrating the season, nail polish style, with these ten KBShimmer Falloween polishes.




Oops! A bottle of polish that shall remain a mystery for now, sneaked into my shot.


Hide And Eek
Purple, orange, black, green and yellow in a white crelly base

The name of this is cute for a crelly, the glitter is definitely playing hide and seek. Two coats shown with topcoat, no formula issues.






The Snuggle Is Real
a neutral tan cream

Truly neutral, this one doesn't seem to lean yellow or orange, but does a good job of staying right in the taupey color space. Two coats shown with topcoat, super creamy smooth formula.






Take It Or Leaf It
metallic flakes that shift from red, burnt orange, gold and hints of green at extreme angles in a clear base.

Look at those fall leaves!! Oh wait, that's polish flake. One coat painted over The Snuggle Is Real then topcoated, no formula issues.
I am also showing it topped with a purple jelly, and then another coat of Take It or Leaf it to show how it looks in a jelly sammich.







Smashed
a spiced pumpkin linear holographic.

Super vibrant holo flame, and its copper leaning rather than straight orange. Two coats shown with topcoat, no formula issues.






Here For The Boos
Halloween orange base loaded with silver holographic glitters.

Packed with sparkle, it is noticeable even in dim lighting. Two coats shown with topcoat for a smooth finish. I didn't notice much of a texture without topcoat.





How could I not do this?




Fool Moon
a multichrome that shifts from a light yellow to warmer goldenrod, sage, olive, and a dusty blue at extreme angles.

I noticed the blue hue in the bottle, but not on my nails while shooting. It is possible that my light source for photos just wasn't the right lighting for it. Two coats shown, the second coat was sponged on to eliminate brush strokes and then topped with topcoat. No issues with formula.






Absinthe Minded
a multichrome that shifts from lime to green and blue.

Spell Check
a deep blue jelly base loaded with flakes that shift from green, blue, indigo, to aqua.

Christie names all the blues/greens, but I swear I saw violet in there too, a quite vibrant violet. Two coats shown for a squishy jelly look, no issues with formula.






Best Witches
A purple base filled with silver holographic glitters.

Another super sparkly mega flame finish. I wore two coats with topcoat for a smooth finish. I didn't notice much of a texture without topcoat.






Creep It Together
a magnetic polish that comes alive with a magnet. Hues of pink, golds and green are attracted to the magnet, allowing the black base to show off the flakes that shift from lime, to pink with hints of blue and gold.

Loving the complexities of this polish. I wore two coats, and then magnetized with the KBShimmer dual ended magnet in two different diagonal directions. It's the first time I have used this new magnet and I must say it is super strong and thick.






All polishes are shown with two coats and KBShimmer Clearly On Top topcoat. The formulas for all of them were good, no issues. I've enjoyed swatching and wearing the whole Falloween Collection, so it is really difficult to choose one single favorite from all ten of them. If I were to narrow it down, definitely The Snuggle Is Real (tan cream), Best Witches (mega flame purple), and Creep It Together (multichrome, flake, magnetic).
