Hella Handmade Creations is rolling out their new format this month on May 14th-21st and with that comes a wider selection of polish! They have also made the sales of these polishes available to everyone, no longer requiring group membership. I'll be posting the polishes in parts as I receive and swatch them since there are a total of 17 polishes. Let's get started!

A golden-honey colored base with an orange to gold shifting shimmer (green at extreme angles) and holo flakes.

Shown is two coats with topcoat, formula was fantastic and the brush cannot be beat. It is super soft, rounded and flat, but not too wide for the smallest of my nails.






Emily de Molly
Light Rays
A steel blue holo with gold shimmer and silver micro glitters. The gold shimmer may give it a more green appearance in some lights.

Rich, beautiful green green. It doesn't lean yellow or blue, it is a right in the middle green. Two coats with topcoat, fantastic formula. Could be worn in one coat.

Our Lady of the Trees, named for Julia Wicker's ascension to goddess status in season 3 of the television show The Magicians, is a denim-leaning blue crelly base packed full of red/green shifting shimmer, red/green/gold/copper iridescent flakes, and scattered holographic pigment.

Beautifully done jelly flake packed with shimmer and shift. Two coats shown with topcoat, the easy to formula went on like a dream.

Loving the coppery sparks and shimmer in this polish, though difficult to capture with my camera it is definitely there. Two coats, topcoat, fantastic formula.

Girly Bits for Polish Pick Up: All The Wayans Back In The 90's

Girly Bits has joined in Polish Pick Up again for May with a super sparkly polish.
Polish Pick Up release is May 4 - 7 at https://www.polishpickup.com/ and the theme is 90's Pop Culture.

Pam's polish was inspired by In Living Color which was a sketch comedy show created by the Wayans brothers that really pushed the censorship boundaries and launched so many careers. From the Fly Girls, to the zany characters such as Homey D Clown, The Head Detective, Wanda Wayne, Vera Di Milo, and the Men of Film, there was nothing else quite like it, but we all wanted to be a Fly Girl!!

All the Wayans back in the 90's is a purple base, with a strong pink to blue to turquoise shifting shimmer, a scattering of holo flakes and iridescent colour shifting flakes in orange, pink, and gold.

Wow! This polish is super sparkly and shifts between bright lavender, pink and blue, resulting in a periwinkle cast at times! I love how many different ways this polish can look! The formula was fantastic and opaque in two coats. Shown with topcoat, no texture.

Let's Boogie

Azure Thing

These first three crelly polishes are nothing short of beautiful, super squishy, no streaks, super shiny polishes. I need every color of the rainbow in these now.





Surf's Up
azure blue based multi chrome that shifts azure to aqua to purple to pink.






Moonlight on the Water
royal blue based multi chrome that shifts royal blue to aqua to purple with added Aurora pigment that shifts aqua to purple.

The shift in this one is subtle and difficult to capture. What I saw in low light was mostly a deep teal shade which was beautiful.






High Tide
azure blue crelly base with Aurora pigment that shifts bright aqua to pink to bright sky blue.





And now for the jelly toppers!! These have both the original red to green shifting pigment known as unicorn pee plus the current replacement known as aurora pigment. They're all very pretty and do amazing things to the polishes above! Below are descriptions for each of them, and then photos of them in use. The bottles under each photo are in the same order as what's on the nail.

Building Sand Castles
white crelly base with UP and Aurora pigment that creates an intense shimmer against the crelly that shifts red to gold to green.

Hang Ten
Blurple crelly with UP pigment and Aurora pigment creates an intense shimmer off the blurple crelly that shifts red, to gold to green.

This Side of Heaven
turquoise blue crelly with UP pigment and Aurora pigment creates an intense shimmer against the turquoise crelly that shifts red to gold to green.

Banana Smoothie
soft yellow crelly with UP and Aurora pigment that creates an intense shift of red to gold to green.

The formulas for all of these polishes is fantastic as we have come to expect from CBL polishes. For all the base shades shown is two coats which was plenty opaque for them. The base shades were then topped with one coat each of the toppers shown. It is amazing how a simple topper can completely transform the base color. Just think of the possibilities of these over red, orange, purple, green or yellow polishes too. I thoroughly enjoyed playing with them!
