Lollipop Posse's Creature of Desire is a late Winter/Spring 2020 collection, filled with a variety of color and finish. The whole collection is inspired by the new album from FKA Twigs, “Magdalene”. I haven't heard of this group or album, so I listened as I wrote this review for ya'll! See the details from Karen just below for when, where and how to get them.

Aching
A mulberry crelly based accented with a turquoise, gold, and pink shifting shimmer.

All I Do
A cyan crelly based filled with shimmer that shifts between shades of turquoise, gold, purple, and pink.

Apples, Cherries
A candy apple red jelly, packed full of iridescent flakes that shift between hot pink, red, and gold.
“Apples, cherries, pain. Breathe in, breathe out, pain. No, no, novocaine. Still maintain my grace. How come the more you have, the more that people want from you?”

Deep River
A navy blue base filled with purple, magenta, and gold multichrome pigment and red, gold, and green shifting Aurora shimmer.
“Day three, take me to a deep river. Steal a kiss when I’m lost in the mist.”

Onyx
A deeply pigmented, pitch black matte.
“When I visualize, all I see is black (onyx). Ground me to the floor, just a little more (get it, onyx).”

The Lies You Tell
A pale gray crelly accented with linear holographic pigment and luminescent blue to purple shifting iridescent flakes.

Unoccupied History
A green to blue to purple multichrome base filled with blue, green, and purple shifting iridescent flakes and holographic microflakes.

Beautiful polishes and formulas! I've shown each of them with glossy top coat and matte top coat. They are all 2 coats, unless noted otherwise. Which are your favorites?!

Lollipop Posse: The Study Set

Lollipop Posse Lacquer brings us a set of three shades inspired by Karen's time spent helping a student study vocabulary for his English lit class! The set drops on November 28th at 10pm Central on the Lollipop webshop. You can see their Black Friday sales detail on row 23 at my Holiday Sales page.




Dulcet
A muted purple base packed with red/green/gold color shifting Aurora shimmer. A close recreation to last year’s Black Friday SBP ‘Where the Lovelight Gleams’.






Felicitous
A delicate blue base accented with fine particle green/blue/purple shifting shimmer.







Mellifluous
A muted, grayed-out base filled with blue/green/purple Aurora shimmer.






The polishes applied easily with no issues. All are shown in two coats with glossy topcoat. Will you be picking these up?

Lollipop Posse: July 2019 PPU

July's PPU is a rewind! What that means this year is that brands are making polishes from past PPUs. Some will be in the PPU shop, and some will be in the brand's shop! Lollipop Posse Lacquer is doing both!




Available in the Polish Pickup Shop 7/05 - 7/08 will be 'Spirit of the Kohaku River 2.0'

Inspired by characters from the film "Spirited Away", it is the embodiment of Haku's true form in a nail polish bottle. At the end of the film, Chihiro helps Haku remember that before Yubaba took his name, he was the spirit of the Kohaku River.
This gorgeous shade is a blue crelly base with duochrome shimmer that shifts between green and blue, scattered holographic pigment, and a smattering of pink/gold/bronze/green multichrome flakes. Karen states there are not many noticeable differences between the original and the 2.0 version, although the holographic pigment used is slightly different.






Lollipop's second re-release, 'Your Name Belongs to Me Now 2.0'

Inspired by Yubaba (also from "Spirited Away") and her name-stealing ways. This shade is a navy blue crelly that suspends red/green shifting shimmer, rust/red/green shifting multichrome pigment, and holographic flakies.
Please note that due to pigment changes by the manufacturer, the 2.0 version of this polish is visibly different from the original in several ways. The new shifting pigment causes the base to lean a darker shade of navy, but there is definitely more multichrome shift!





Both polishes are shown in two coats with topcoat and have fantastic formulas. I am so glad that we're all getting a second chance at polishes we missed, what will you be picking up?
