These first three crelly polishes are nothing short of beautiful, super squishy, no streaks, super shiny polishes. I need every color of the rainbow in these now.





Surf's Up
azure blue based multi chrome that shifts azure to aqua to purple to pink.






Moonlight on the Water
royal blue based multi chrome that shifts royal blue to aqua to purple with added Aurora pigment that shifts aqua to purple.

The shift in this one is subtle and difficult to capture. What I saw in low light was mostly a deep teal shade which was beautiful.






High Tide

And now for the jelly toppers!! These have both the original red to green shifting pigment known as unicorn pee plus the current replacement known as aurora pigment. They're all very pretty and do amazing things to the polishes above! Below are descriptions for each of them, and then photos of them in use. The bottles under each photo are in the same order as what's on the nail.

Building Sand Castles
white crelly base with UP and Aurora pigment that creates an intense shimmer against the crelly that shifts red to gold to green.

Hang Ten
Blurple crelly with UP pigment and Aurora pigment creates an intense shimmer off the blurple crelly that shifts red, to gold to green.

This Side of Heaven
turquoise blue crelly with UP pigment and Aurora pigment creates an intense shimmer against the turquoise crelly that shifts red to gold to green.

Banana Smoothie
soft yellow crelly with UP and Aurora pigment that creates an intense shift of red to gold to green.

The formulas for all of these polishes is fantastic as we have come to expect from CBL polishes. For all the base shades shown is two coats which was plenty opaque for them. The base shades were then topped with one coat each of the toppers shown. It is amazing how a simple topper can completely transform the base color. Just think of the possibilities of these over red, orange, purple, green or yellow polishes too. I thoroughly enjoyed playing with them!

Turtle Tootsie: No Wire Hangers

Have you seen the classic movie Mommy Dearest?
Turtle Tootsie Polishes' inspiration picture for the Polish Pick-up in August is from the movie!

"No Wire Hangers" is a steel gray linear holo with pink and blue micro flakies that make the polish look pink, blue or purple depending on the angle.





No Wire Hangers will be available on August 4th-7th only at The Polish Pick Up. You can join the facebook fangroup to check out all the other polishes launching at the same time.

The Color Box: Blue

The Color Box is a blogger and brand collaborative box lead by Julie from Blue-Eyed Girl, Manna from Manna's Manis and I. The idea was to have a single color themed box of custom blogger designed polishes. In each box we invite both new and well-known brands and bloggers. The fans vote for the color, and the box is a pre-order only launch that lasts a full week. Each brand also has the option of listing their polish in their own shop after the box has been shipped.

This month's box color is Blue! Pre-order is March 10th - March 17th. 20 boxes will be available for purchase at the Indie Shop event in Atlanta Georgia on March 11th. If you're going, I'll see you there!



Sakura Skies

To match the upcoming season, I chose a bright summer sky blue base packed with shimmer and pink to peach to gold shifting glass fleck with a dusting of holo.
Demi did a stellar job matching the polish to my inspiration photos and description, don't you think? The hidden holo comes out in bright sunny outdoor lighting. I wore two easy coats and topcoat for a glossy shine. Formula was fantastic, and packaging is amazing. The skinny round bottle is easy to store, the skinny flat brush allows for ease of control while polishing and the cap adorned with a painted cabochon really magnifies and shows off the detail of the polish.








Manna's Mystical Masterpiece
Manna / Tonic
A cobalt blue duochrome that shifts to purple with a fine linear holographic finish. I wore two coats with topcoat, formula was good. This polish has a metallic-y finish and the subtle holo is more apparent in bright sunlight.







Texas Treasures
Krystal / Supermoon
A dark navy with holo copper microglitter, metallic copper microglitter, spectraflair and holo clear microglitter. What a stunner! Flashes of holo and coppery shimmer everywhere, formula was buttery and fantastic. I wore two coats with topcoat.





Blue A Fuse
Lo / Blush
A deep blue base with blue micro flakies, holo flakies, holo and a hint of black shreds. Great formula and such a shimmery, sparkly shade! I wore two coats with topcoat.





Niagara Sunrise
Steph / Blue-Eyed Girl
A faded denim with copper fine and medium shimmers and gold microflakies. Formula was good, and just look at the flakies in this! I wore two coats with topcoat. I was able to wear this polish for several days, long enough to notice nail growth (5ish days?) and there was no chipping!
