KBShimmer is leaning all the way into those crisp, cozy, and creepy vibes with their newest 10-piece release, the Don't Sweat The Fall Stuff Collection. Packed with dimensional shimmers, shifts, thermals, and holographic sparkle, this lineup is a autumn lover's dream. Let's jump right into the swatches!
Bat To The Bone – A black jelly nail polish loaded with flakes in green, orange, and purple, with hints of lime, pink, and indigo at different angles. Paired with included purple metallic bat glitters on my middle nail. I have a fairly curved nail so the tips of the wings stuck up a little and you'll see that I used extra Smooth Moves over it and then Clearly on Top topcoat.
Carve Out Some Time (G) – A bright, jack-o'-lantern-inspired glow-in-the-dark orange nail polish. Near-neon in color, this bright hue is accented with an array of black flakes. Turns into a yellow-orange glow in the dark.
Don't Sweat The Fall Stuff – A muted orchid-purple magnetic nail polish full of shifting shimmer that moves easily from lavender to fuchsia, pink, peach, and gold depending on lighting and viewing angle. Works both magnetized and unmagnetized. I don't know what it is about that mottled speckled look, but I am so drawn to polishes with it. I could wear this not magnetized and be totally in love with it.
Eerie-sistible – A deep, pine green nail polish with mossy undertones. Loaded with fine purple-shifting shimmer that moves from cool grape tones to warm eggplant and deep reddish burgundy.
Feeling Kinda Wicked (T) – A deep green thermal nail polish. This wicked, olive-leaning green shade features a rose-pink shimmer that shifts to near-red, fiery orange, and fuchsia hues, warming to a rosy pink color. This one may or may not still be available. There was an issue reported with the thermal change and so Christy marked is clearancing them for just $5. The one I have seems to change to a brownish shade just fine, I was really hot when I swatched it and it would not stay in the cold state for very long, not even long enough to dab off the icy water. The change was a touch darker than what I was able to catch in the photos.
Grave Consequences – A near-gray, almost tan linear holographic nail polish. This greige shade features a rainbow holographic burst in bright light with a soft rose-to-peach shimmer for added depth. If you have been longing for OPI's My Private Jet, get this. It looks just like the original charcoal-based one. Stunning!
Haunt Couture – A pale gray nail polish in a near-crelly finish with a scattering of micro holographic glitter. A bold blue shimmer runs through the base, shifting from aqua to blue, with hints of purple at certain angles. Ya gotta love the puns Christy comes up with, this one's a fave of mine.
Hay Good Lookin’ – A scattered holographic nail polish loaded with micro-glitters. Copper and silver holographic glitters shine and catch the light, while a shimmer adds depth, offering flashes of gold, copper, and a peachy orange.
Scry For Help – A deep berry nail polish with a glowy shimmer. A striking fuchsia shimmer adds a hint of pink, while at some angles, purple and fiery red come out to play. Lovely shifty shade, I wore this for nearly a week before removing it.
Treat Me Right – A near-metallic, color-shifting purple nail polish shifting from deep grape purple to a brighter magenta-leaning hue and near indigo, accented with a scattering of micro holographic glitter. If you enjoyed Cool Beans from a few years ago, this is its purple cousin so you gotta get this one too!
All of my swatches are shown in two thick coats with topcoat and had no formula issues unless otherwise stated. All photography uses a neutral color temperature bulb with white bounce card. My nails are natural with no enhancements and no blurring/cream base, I have a fairly prominent VNL.
