Shimmer Me Box: Totally 80s NEON

The second iteration of the new Shimmer Me Box is a "Totally 80's Neon" theme and features the guest brand, Blush.

Livin' In A Material World is a neon coral with a green shimmer and a sprinkling of blue-purple iridescent micro glitters. Three coats with topcoat shown. Formula was a little thick but easily applied.

I've included a darkened version of each image as an attempt at portraying this shade more accurately. Neon corals, oranges and some pinks don't photograph well under my usual lighting.








The Future's So Bright I Gotta Wear Shades - Neon violet purple with intense pink Shimmer. Two coats with topcoat, formula was excellent.





Beetlejuice - A lemon-lime neon with white and green shimmer, flakies, and a bit of holo. Three coats with topcoat, in hindsight I should have gone for one more coat. Formula was a little thick but easily applied.





Totally Bodacious is a neon fuchsia with green shimmer. Two coats with topcoat, formula was good.

Yellow Submarine - This polish starts with a mustard yellow base, dusted with holographic glitter and pigments. The super sparkly finish and shade are eye catching. Opaque in two coats.





Across The Universe - a beautiful purple leaning gray crelly with rainbow shifting holo. Opaque in two coats.





Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds - super glittery holographic, barely lilac polish. Opaque in three coats.





The formula for each was smooth and easy to apply, though Lucy was a little thicker feeling just because it is so packed with sparkly holo glitters.

KBShimmer: A Roaring Borealis

KBShimmer created a facebook group exclusive a long while ago and I've been looking forward to wearing it.
Finally, the time came where I was able to choose a polish I've purchased to wear. It was totally worth the wait, in fact I wish I could have worn it sooner. The blurple jelly-ish base is packed with holo glitter and teal/green shifty shimmers.

This polish is galaxy nails in a bottle!






The formula was fantasstic as with all the KBShimmer polishes I've worn prior. I wore two coats with topcoat and it lasted almost a week without any chips!

The polish is no longer available, I purchased it on June 6th last year. But you should join the facebook fan group if you haven't - maybe Christy will do another group polish at some point!
