Shimmer Me Box: Gold

The theme for the next Shimmer Me Box is gold shimmer and its release is on 12/15 at Native War Paints. The special guest this month is Bluebird Lacquer, who has a made a bright teal polish with golden shimmer. Formulas for each of these was fluid and easy to apply.



Yule Get Through This is a bright glowing green with a copper/gold shimmer. The polish almost looks like a duochrome with how the gold blends with the base and is glowy where the light hits it.
Shown is two coats.





Flame Ascending is deep burgundy red with intense gold shimmer.
Opaque in just one coat, but I used two coats to ensure even coverage and depth of color.





Ever Glow is a dark evergreen with gold shimmer and sparkling holo throughout.
Almost opaque in one coat, two shown.





Golden Gummy Bears is a bright pink jelly with gold shimmer.
I wore three coats, as this applies a bit sheer but in the end it has a nice depth of shimmer and color.

Shimmer Me Box: Fall In Love

The Shimmer Me Box launched today, September 1 and will be for sale for one week. The theme this time is Fall In Love and the guest brand is Savannah Lacquer.
The September Shimmer Me Box comes with a free mystery polish from Native War Paints, so you'll get a total of five polishes. I didn't receive the mystery polish, so it shall remain a mystery!



Savannah Lacquer - Take Me Apple Picking - Red polish with green shimmer and scattered Holo with a dash of silver Holo microglitter
This was my first time trying this brand and I noticed this polish has a different odor than most. It reminds me of the base ILNP used when she first started out.





CbL - Falling to Pieces - Deep royal blue with aqua shimmer
Such a rich deep toned blue and wow, that shimmer! The shimmer is more apparent in different lighting, bringing out and almost teal look to the polish. Loving this!





Tux Polish - Love Potion No. Wine - Concord grape purple with holo sparkle, pink micro glitter, and blue and copper shimmer.
Quite sparkly!





NWP - Lay in the Fallen Leaves - Nude polish with red/orange/yellow shifting shimmer
This brand hasn't made a polish yet that I didn't love. I was skeptical about this one after seeing the bottle, but when I put it on -- magic!





All four polishes are shown in two coats and have fantastic formulas. I'm really loving the rich depth and glowy-ness of the CBL in this box.

Shimmer Me Box: Summer Vamp

The next release of the Shimmer Me Box is August 11, at 11am Central and its theme is Summer Vamp!
The box with guest, Girly Bits, is packed with vampy polishes in blue, red, and purple and are sure to sparkle like Edward!



Girly Bits - What the Hex - inky blue crelly with a violet-copper-orange shimmer, and a violet to copper duochrome shft.





CbL - The Lady is a Vamp - blackened oxblood with gold, red, burgundy shifting Shimmer with a touch of shifting flake and holo.





Tux Polish - Don't Be Jealous - Dark purple with green shimmer, holo, and micro glitter.





NWP - Vamping Up - dark red leaning purple with copper shimmer.





All four polishes are shown in two coats and have fantastic formulas. I'm really loving the jelly like squish of the CBL and Girly Bits, but I think my favorite of this box is the NWP. Purple/copper combos steal my heart every time.

Life's a Beach, When You're a Peach - Light peach linear holo with pink to blue shifting shimmers and peach microflakes
Shown is two coats with topcoat. Formula was smooth and crelly-like.






Take Me To The Water - Burnt neon orange with blue and pink shimmer.
Shown is three coats with topcoat. Formula was fantastic!






It's Getting Hot in Here - red with copper shimmer.
Shown is two coats with topcoat. The formula was very fluid and easy to apply.






Some Like It Hot. Neon hot pink with blue shimmer.
Shown is two coats with topcoat. Fantastic formula as with all CBLs I've tried.
Photos are not color accurate - the actual color is like a neon pink highlighter with blue shimmer. On my screen, my photos lean more blue than the actual color.
