Miss Ashleigh: Show Me Your Watermelons

Do you like cream polishes? I do! I think they've taken a back seat lately to all the dazzling holos and glitters, but creams are really beautiful in their own right. Miss Ashleigh Show Me Your Watermelons is a coral leaning red, that is super vivid. It has an impressively smooth and fluid formula, is opaque in two coats and super glossy on its own. I did use topcoat for my photos, however.

In Honor of Pet Rescuers

I am unable to have any pets due to allergies, but I do love dogs and cats. So I've made a mani honoring those of you that are able to rescue pets. You are truly amazing folks!

I created this with several layers using a base color from Miss Ashleigh called Show Me Your Watermelons. I then stamped it with Vivid Lacquer plate 01 and 27 in three different layers.

If you are a pet rescuer or want to get a new pet, please do consider fostering or adopting from ASPCA or your local Humane Society.

Miss Ashleigh: Punk Princess

I have really enjoyed each and every Miss Ashleigh polish I've tried, and Punk Princess is no exception. It's a thermal with circle and hex glitters in it!
I haven't worn thermals much so I found this to be a really fun polish to wear.

I couldn't stop dunking my fingers in cold water and then watching the polish morph as it warmed up. Punk Princess changes from a pink shade when warm to a brown shade when cool. Totally makes me think of chocolate covered strawberries!

The formula was amazingly smooth and easy to control. I wore two coats for opacity.

Miss Ashleigh: In the Navy

Do you prefer dark, vampy and mysterious?
In the Navy from Miss Ashleigh is absolutely that! This is the second of the polishes by Miss Ashleigh, sent to me from Ella Ann Cosmetics and I'm quite pleased with it.

In the Navy is a deep blackened blue and where the light hits the nail is so glowy!
The formula is fluid and fairly easy to control. As with some shimmers, use care on the second coat as not to disturb the first coat. This was opaque in one coat but I always use two to insure even coverage for photos.

Miss Ashleigh: Berry Delicious

I love a good purple polish and Berry Delicious from Miss Ashleigh does not disappoint! In this review, I share my first impressions of the polish by Miss Ashleigh, sent to me from Ella Ann Cosmetics.

The polish comes packaged in a white designer box, with the super cute heart logo in a bold modern style. The box also has a window cut out so the polish color is visible before it's removed from the box.
The brush is a round classic style brush and the formula is fantastic. It is very fluid, easy to control, no clumps or dragging and almost opaque in one coat. I used two coats and topcoat to make sure I had good even coverage for the photos. I've worn the polish for two days now and plan to wear it for a few more and so far, I've not had any chips or cracks. The mani still looks freshly applied.

Last night I decided to try out a new Infinity stamping plate that has some of my favorite Sanrio characters on it. I stamped with MDU 25 and a candy head stamper.
