Polish Pick Up: Red Carpet - November 2020

The theme this month for Polish Pickup is Red Carpet! Launching Nov 6 at 10a Central through Nov 9, 11p Central. A heap of fantastic brands have offerings this month, and I have some of them to share with you!

KBShimmer In The Mood
A thermal polish that features a deep black base that shows off hues of lavender and purple when warm. A mix of flakes in shades of indigo, fuchsia, peach, and coral, and shifty shimmer sparkle with hints of pink and purple.
Christy's inspiration is a dress designed by a judge from a foreign Project Runway: a dramatic black bodice fading into hues of lavender, coral, deep purples, and pinks

Definitely tricky to the eye! The shifing shimmer and flake appear to make the black base look purple or blue to me! Shown in two coats with topcoat.

KBShimmer Sparkling Champagne Scrub
Inspired by the golden, bubbly drink we love to sip at celebrations. It's scent is soft and fresh with light notes of apricot, a hint of brandy, and subtle notes of flowers and pink berries. Off-white in color with gold swirls throughout, great for your pampering routine.

I really enjoyed the scent of this scrub, it is definitely fresh/clean smelling and not in a harsh way. It doesn't seem boozy to my nose, just slightly fruity. As all the other KBShimmer scrubs I have reviewed, this one consistently performs as the others.

Lollipop Posse Let Me Hold It Lightly
Inspiration: Florence Welch's dress for the 2019 Met Gala
A seafoam green jelly filled with lavender shimmer and purple/green/blue shifting iridescent flakes. "Lord, don't let me break this Let me hold it lightly Give me arms to pray with Instead of ones that hold too tightly" -"100 Years", Florence and the Machine
No Cap

Shown in three coats with topcoat, this lovely cinderella-esque shade is beautifully done!

LynB Designs What's It Worth To Ya?
Inspired by the house of Worth. Jennalyn is a self proclaimed fashion nerd and recently discovered the house of Worth. They designed the it girl dresses of the Victorian/Edwardian age. Everyone has a favorite Worth gown, and this polish is inspired by her favorite.
A black to white thermal with green to violet shifting shimmer, red to green to gold shifting flakies, and touches of gold holo sparkle.
No Cap

Always fun with thermals and what makes this one different is the shift! Not only does it have the hot/cold shade, it has a shifty shimmer too! Shown in two coats with topcoat.

The Soapy Chef Walk That Red Carpet Foot Scrub
Inspired by walking the red carpet in Louboutins.
A cream based foot scrub scented with refreshing ginger and lime. It exfoliates with ground pumice and jojoba wax beads, both biodegradable. The cream is packed with skin loving avocado and olive oil, as well as shea butter. (see listing for full ingredients)
Cap: 80 US, 5 UK

Just look at that glammed up jar!! I used this on my hands as a mask by grabbing a dollop and rubbing my hands together before letting sit for ten minutes. After rinsing my hands were softer than a baby bum. The scrub can be used on most parts of the body, I would not recommend the face or other delicate areas. The scent leans slightly masculine to me and it gives me a sense of comfort.

Turtle Tootsie Cinderella Slippers
A special effect topper loaded with silver micro glitter, holo pigment and a bunch of adorable white satin Cinderella shoe glitter
Cap: 200

I wore one coat over the PPU polish, Emerald Diva. It's really sparkly and I love those shoe shapes!! I'm so happy to be seeing fancy shaped glitter making a come back!

Turtle Tootsie Emerald Diva
A dark green emerald holo loaded with gold micro glitter, gold flakies and gold shimmer
Inspired by Kate Winslet
Cap: 200

This green though! It's such a striking hue, I love it! Shown in two coats
