1850 The Vicar
A bright raspberry base with a variety of pink, purple, and blue shimmers and multichrome flakes that transition from fuchsia to gold and green.
Inspired by the conflicted Vicar Sidney, a conflicted crime-solving star of the Masterpiece show Grantchester. The colors were derived from Sidney's traveling outfit while on holiday in London.

Shown is two coats with topcoat, application was smooth, no clumps or dragging.




Alter Ego Sorbonne Bearded Iris
Holo black, holo red and holo yellow microglitters

I LOVE a good microglitter and this one is exceptional. I think I have finally found my 'picture window' polish that I've been looking for since 2012. This one is perfect!
Shown in two coats with topcoat.




Lollipop Posse I Find You Acceptable
A lemon yellow jelly accented with bright blue-shifting Aurora shimmer and blue-to-purple shifting iridescent flakes.
Inspiration: Lemongrab, from Adventure Time.

Shown is three coats with topcoat. The shifting Aurora and flakes were difficult to capture without making the whole shade of yellow inaccurate in the photos. It's definitely there, just washed out by my lighting, unfortunately. The formula was good, easy to apply, no issues.




LynB Designs Not the Meek and Obedient Type
A deep bluish black to red to orange to yellow shifting shimmer with scattered rainbows of holo.

Polish Pickup: World Travel

PR Sample

The theme this month for Polish Pickup is World Travel. Launching Feb 5 at 10a Central through 8, 11p Central. A lot of brands have offerings this month, and I have some of them to show you!



KBShimmer I Can Sea Clearly Now
Inspired by sunsets, beaches, and everything tropical. This shifty shade starts with a glistening gold that quickly shows off hues of lime and aqua. A quick flick of the wrist or change in lighting brings out bolder blues, teal, green, and hints of periwinkle. Seeming almost pastel at times and jewel-toned in others, this water-inspired hue glimmers as it catches the light, for a unique nail polish that celebrates the tropics.

This polish is everything happy, shifty, sunny, beachy, calming, it's simply a must have. Shown in two coats with topcoat.




KBShimmer Paradise sugar scrub
A nod to those refreshing citrus drinks, starting with a strong note of fresh-squeezed limes, sweetened by hints of pineapple, zesty orange, and lemon. Subtle notes of gardenias finish off this citrus scent. Soft lime and cream swirls of sugar are accented by a dusting of biodegradable glitter.

Lollipop Posse Straight Floatin
A light blue crelly base filled with bright pink-shifting aurora shimmer, vibrant pink iridescent color-shift flakes, and holographic microflakes. Inspiration: The song “I’m on a Boat” by The Lonely Island.

Super reflective ya'll, it's like if a polish finish could be like a pave ring or a druzy stone. Loving this! Shown in two coats with topcoat.




LynB Designs In a Van, Down By The River
A dusty purple to pink thermal filled with aqua to purple to pink shifting flakies, green to blue to purple shifting shimmer, and a hint of scattered holo sparkle Inspired by van life and traveling the world in your tiny home.

Sparkly and packed absolutely full of flakies! The thermal shifts are also perfect springtime colors! Shown in three coats with topcoat.




The Soapy Chef Travel the World Himalayan salt scrub
Inspired by the Himalayan mountains. This scrub is great for the whole body! Comes with small spoon.
The scent consists of refreshing spa, morning mist, lemon zest, and blue lotus petal.

I enjoy the fresh spa scent and the scrubby texture of this product. I'm super happy about the spoon that comes with it too! Those spoons are critical in keeping water (and germs!) out of the scrub jar so that the scrub can last for a long period of time. The scrub in the jar looks a little like it might be dry, but that's because the butters in there have solidified, as soon as you put it on your hands and start rubbing it around, the butters melt. If you add a little water, the scrub emulsifies into a lotiony creamy goodness! I love using this scrub before shaving my legs as an exfoliation prep - it's fantastic!

Nevermind: Fat Tuesday Duo

PR Sample

Nevermind Polish is bringing us a holo duo inspired by Mardi Gras. These launched already, so you can get them now!



Mardi Green
Vibrant green linear holographic

A slightly more grassy shade of green than a straight up lime shade. I'm loving it, what do ya'll think of it? It's opaque in three coats as shown and is smooth and easy to apply. I took one photo under a different light because it makes the holo rainbows just sing!



Purple Parade
Deep purple linear holographic

Super grapey and ya'll the blue flame in the holo is EVERYTHING. Hard to capture in photos. trust. :) Easy to apply, opaque in two coats. I also took a photo under that light that blings out the holo.



Some fun stamping! I used H La Cosadora polish to stamp and a design from their Fortune Cookie plate.



I added matte topcoat, and absolutely love it this way!
