Blush Lacquer is celebrating their 4th year in business with a special anniversary collection!

Pink Lagoon is a 5-piece mixed finish collection in hot summer shades. Inspired by aerial photos of the Hutt Lagoon in Australia, a salt lake naturally pink in hue due to the presence of carotenoid-producing algae. This collection features shimmers, a delicate neutral flakie polish and a bold metallic for a variety of textures and colors to wear this summer.

I am really liking the variety in texture and the shades chosen for this whole collection. I especially love In The Shallow, with its subtle color but surprise pop of glam with it's metallic flakes. I've swatched these all with two coats of polish plus topcoat, and they're all great formulas. You'll experience effortless application with their soft fan shaped brush, original to the BLUSH brand.

Polish Pick Up: June 2020

The theme this month for Polish Pickup is Cocktails and Mocktails! Launch is June 5 at 10am Central through June 8, 11pm Central. A heap of fantastic brands have offerings this month, and I have some of them to share with you!

Lollipop Posse To San Antonio, With Love
Inspiration: The Sangria Margarita from La Gloria, a beautiful authentic Mexican restaurant found in the Pearl Brewery area of San Antonio, Texas. Karen and her husband fell in 100% LOVE with San Antonio when they visited for the October 2019 Indie Shop event. One of her favorite memories of the trip was an amazing afternoon spent dining by the riverside at La Gloria, enjoying an epic margarita and some of the best Mexican cuisine they’ve ever had.

Lollipop Posse: The Jabberwock (Anniversary Quad)

May Anniversary Quad: The Jabberwock
A set of four neon, flakie-filled jellies inspired by the poem “Jabberwocky” by Lewis Carroll.

Karen of Lollipop says, "I've always loved reading this poem because of Carroll’s nonsense language that somehow quite makes sense. Some nonsense shades for these off-kilter times we’re living in!"

The collection releases at lollipopposselacquer.com on Saturday, May 16th @ 6p CT.
Limited quantities will be available based on stock on hand, but will be restocked as needed. Complete sets will be offered at a discounted rate for one month after release date.



All swatches are shown in two coats with topcoat. The formula is fantastic and finish is super squishy looking! I also tried a matte topcoat on them, and I like how they look that way as well.


All Mimsy is a neon, deep purple jelly filled with iridescent flakes that shift from bright pink to gold to purple.

Oh Frabjous Day is a soft, neon pink jelly filled with flakes that shift between orange, red, and gold.

Snicker-Snack is a neon coral crelly filled with iridescent blue to purple shifting flakes.

I have been craving jellies lately and these are so squishy with great coverage. Perfect vibrant summer shades. They delivered!
If I were to choose a favorite, it would be All Mimsy, a fantastic shade of purple and the flakes just pop!
