Ever After: Irish duo and a Peek at Spring

Ever After's Irish duo is unusual in the sense that it's not a green and gold duo but the colors of a good dark stout beer! I've created a sponged on gradient nail art look to mimic a tall glass of a dark Irish stout.

The blackened brown jelly is called The Good Stuff (opaque in two coats) and the sparkly sheer creamy shade is called Let It Settle. Underneath my gradient, I used a cream colored polish called Milky Ways.

We see you spring time! The beginning of spring from Ever After is this polish called Peep Show, a sparkly pastel yellow akin to the color of a marshmallow peep! It is a softened shade, which I enjoy more than the sharp/bright shades of yellow. I wore two coats to reach opacity.

I also shot a comparison of Peep Show and A Kiss Would Be Nice, Yes? to show the differences in the two polishes under the same lighting. I hope it's helpful!

These polishes and the Princess Collection all launch tomorrow at 5pm Central. Are you ready?!

Stamped Stars mani

I hope everyone who celebrates it, had a wonderful holiday this July 4th!
Jas and I went to the city's fireworks display, which was excellent, on the night of the 3rd. But even more magical than that was the view from the place Jason goes to run. We had a nearly unobstructed 360 degree view of all the fireworks in the area, and we were the only ones there. We stood outside the car for nearly an hour and it was absolutely breathtaking.

Anywho - below is what I wore for the holiday. Albeit a little late, I thought I would share anyways. I used plate JQ4, MdU 1, and a GPS stamper to stamp the stars. The gradient was made with a base of Polish My Life Stripped and Essie Style Cartel. Which matched the gradient of my shirt perfectly! (linked shirt image is from cj banks catalog, not taken by me)

If you don't celebrate, I still hope your day was fantastic! Thanks for stopping by!

Nail Gradient

xoxoJen's swatch of Nail Gradient

First day of my business trip and I'm totally worn out. Off to bed very soon!

These were inspired by my outfit from today - a grey/black flecked wrap sweater with an orange tank underneath.

Sinful - Cloud 9 (orange shimmer)
Pure Ice - Beware (silver glitter)
