Humble Bee - September 2025: Little Box of Horrors

Something wicked is coming! The Little Box of Horrors is back with another collection of hauntingly beautiful polishes from a selection of indie brands. This isn't a traditional subscription, it's a monthly pre-order shop for fans of all things spooky, mysterious, and supernatural.

Their September collection will be available from September 22-30 at 2pm CT, and I have a few stunning shades from Humble Bee to share with you!




54 is a clear based polish filled with gold holographic pigments & glitters and gold holographic bar glitters. Looks amazing in 2-3 coats on it's own or as a topper over the polish of your choosing.




West 54th Street is a clear based polish filled with silver holographic pigments & glitters and silver holographic bar glitters. Looks amazing in 2-3 coats on it's own or as a topper over the polish of your choosing.




All of my swatches are shown in two thick coats with topcoat and had no formula issues unless otherwise stated. All photography uses a neutral color temperature bulb with white bounce card. My nails are natural with no enhancements and no blurring/cream base, I have a fairly prominent VNL. Photos are shot with a Sony DSC-WX50 Cybershot camera.

Little Box of Horrors: May 2025

The following products and more will be available May 22-30 at the Little Box of Horrors (LBH) website. LBH is a monthly shop that is open at 2pm central time on the 22nd every month. Shipping starts on the 15th of the following month and they will combine multiple orders. Their themes are based around Halloween, mystery, horror, sci-fi, and supernatural occurrences. LynB Designs: Emerald Wasp- deep emerald base with gold to green to blue shifting magnetic pull and teal to purple shifting UCC flakies. I used a horseshoe magnet for the velvet effect.




Victorian Varnish: Tangled in Cobalt - a smoky base with an intense cobalt blue glowy shimmer.
Inspired by a Cobalt Tarantula for the Creepy Bugs theme.

Victorian Varnish: Let’s Solve A Mystery - Beautiful shimmery base in golds/greens, purple, neon pink, orange, aqua glitters in various sizes with intense green glow in the dark effect.
Inspiration: Scooby Doo & the Glowing Bug Man
I took photos under my studio lighting, and then went to the dark room to shoot photos with no seperate or extra charging. VV recommends charging under a UV light or sunlight, the longer the exposure to the “charge” the longer the glow will be visible.




Victorian Varnish: FAFO - A blue/aqua magnetic when magnetized reveals a beautiful pink/peach/gold/purple shimmer. I used a horseshoe magnet for the velvet effect.
Inspired by an Orchid Mantis for the Creepy Bugs theme.

Victorian Varnish: Creepy Crawlies Lavish Hand & Cuticle Cream - In the forest a multitude of insects roam, their paths laced with crisp bergamot, dark black currant, and earthy oakmoss. Warm amber glimmers among the moss, while soft musk lingers in the air. A scent of strength, mystery, and untamed adventures. If you like Creed's Aventus perfume, you'll love this cream's scent!

A Dangerous Touch - white crelly base with taupe based flakies that shift from green to blue to purple with added holo micro flakies. cap of 150

LynB Designs: Nevermore is a blackened plum to pink thermal with violet glow in the dark with holo, purple, black, and chartreuse micro flakies




LynB Designs: Not Perky Perfume, capped at 50
Top notes- iris, pink peppercorn, vanilla orchid.
Heart notes- ambroxan, tonka absolute.
Base notes: skin musk, ambrette seeds, white woods.
For me, the scent is a clean yet dry and spicy vanilla. I'd categorize it as a white gold scent. Again, Jennalyn has wowed me with her talent of blending perfumes. I am totally in love with this one.




Victorian Varnish: The Ending Is Always A Surprise (Magnetic) - a prismatic rainbow when magnetized with a vibrant pink at other angles. The blue/violet shimmer is present throughout which adds complexity to the overall polish. For both the VV polishes, the cap is 200. The theme is Director Spotlight, Tim Burton's Big Fish. (fun fact: part of this was filmed in Alabama! The town is still there - Spectre)




Victorian Varnish: Time Stops (Thermal) - Black (cold state) to clear (warm state) thermal with golden and silver micro holo glitters, red holo glitters, white glitter, black glitters in assorted sizes and shapes.
