Little Box of Horrors: August 2026

Things are getting creepy and sweet for the August Little Box of Horrors! The theme this month is Halloween Treats, and Victorian Varnish delivered two spooky fun polishes inspired by trick or treat snacks: EYE SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE and SAY AAHHH!.

Both of these shades are capped at just 70 bottles each, so you’ll want to move fast when the shop opens! The August LBH pre-order runs from August 22nd through August 30th. Let's jump right into the swatches!




EYE SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE - A clear base loaded with orange/red/copper aurora shimmer and assorted glitters. Inspired by colorful cookies with candy eyeballs.




SAY AAHHH! (Magnetic) - A golden delicious base with a green-gold leaning Granny Smith magnetic effect, loaded with pink/red diamond sparkle. Inspired by an apple critter with a candy eyeball and strawberry tongue.




All of my swatches are shown in two thick coats with topcoat and had no formula issues unless otherwise stated. All photography uses a neutral color temperature bulb with white bounce card. My nails are natural with no enhancements and no blurring/cream base, I have a fairly prominent VNL.
