Polish Pickup: Sidekicks October 2022

Available at Polish Pickup October 7-10 are some goodies from a variety of brands. I have items from KBShimmer to share with you!

KBShimmer Pump It Up Nail Polish (Reflective) - No Cap

At the first sign of a chill in the air, many start to crave seasonal foods and drinks. Soup pots come out of storage, stores showcase caramel-covered apples, and pumpkin spice makes its way into all the menus. When the PSL hashtag starts trending, you know that fall is just around the corner. This October, KBShimmer is inspired by a favorite fall sidekick, pumpkin spice.

Pump It Up is a muted, pumpkin-colored shade with rusty undertones. In bright light the holo rainbow sparkles and lower light brings out caramel hues. In direct light or under flash, reflective pigment comes alive with sparkling shades echoing your favorite fall drinks. Just like PSL, this shade will not be around forever, so if you’re looking for a perfect polish to pair with your cozy fall wardrobe, this is it!

Shown in two coats with KBShimmer Smooth Moves and Clearly on Top topcoat. Good formula, no issues to report.

Sweet Cider Hand & Body Scrub - No Cap

Autumn is a time like no other. Days are just the perfect temperature for enjoying the turning leaves, while nights are crisp and cool, inviting friends to gather around bonfires. Fall harvests bring pumpkins, gourds, and apples a plenty. A weekend trip to the orchard awards comes with a bounty of cider, apples, and donuts to usher in the tastes of autumn.

Sweet Cider Hand & Body Scrub is inspired by trips to the orchard. Crisp and perfectly ripe apple notes quickly blend with vanilla and spun sugar for a sweet, cider-like scent. Just imagine the taste of Granny Smith apples cut and waiting for warm melted caramel to envelop them. The scrub is not spicy, it is mostly fruity, caramel, and vanilla. A sparkly, light cider in color, this scrub is the perfect scent to usher in a new season!
