Blush: Not Your Average Seahorse

I purchased this limited edition Blush polish from Polish Pickup a while back and put it on tonight. It is absolutely stunning - and I didn't know it had shifting shimmer in it. I just saw and bought. Didn't even read the description.

Not Your Average Seahorse is described as a navy based polish with shifting orange-gold-green micro flake shimmer, shifting green-blue-purple-pink flakies and a touch of holo.

And Shift again!

I wore two buttery smooth coats applied with the softest, best brush this side of Indie Polish. If you haven't tried Blush yet, what are you waiting for!?

Bee's Knees: FU** Cancer

I have watched as Bee's Knees Lacquer launched and grew and more recently, the brand is taking off in popularity. My first order from them was in October and one of the polishes I bought was their October Cancer charity polish. I love that they do a charity each month, you should see the November polish!

The name label has in caps FU (a pink sideways ribbon, that implies the other two letters really well) Cancer. And just look at the cute bee trail detail!

These first three photos are shown under my usual light set up, with my usual poses. Here, the polish looks like a beautiful coppery, mauve, brown shade with strong holo.

However; when held at different angles and different distances from the light, it's super multichromatic! Just look at it shift! Golden, green, mauve, coppery, brown, pinkish!?

It is a stunning one coat wonder, super holo, dream to apply. The brush - yes the brush is a big deal. It is super soft, and that's how I like them!

I really want to try stamping with it at some point, I think it will be perfect for that too.

Are you convinced to check out this brand yet?
No? Perhaps a few minutes in the fan group would help! There are beautiful swatches there and Owners Sarah and Tim are active and caring. Go now - you'll be glad you did!

Shimmer Me Box: A Dish to Pass: Thanksgiving Dinner

The next Shimmer Me Box release is on 11/10 at Native War Paints. The special guest this month is Nvr Enuff, who has a made a stunning flake polish with pink shimmer.

xoxoJen's Shimmer Box: A Dish to Pass: Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanks For Dinner- a dirty silver flakey polish with gunmetal flakes, gold flakes, purple/blue UCC flakes, a pink Shimmer and holo!
This is more of an almost bronze shade to me, maybe mink is a closer description of the shade? Two coats shown, formula was good.

Stuffing or Dressing: golden copper Multichrome base that shifts from copper to brown to red with scattered holo with red, bronze and green flake.
A jelly, but opaque in two coats because it is absolutely loaded with shimmers. The flake reminds me of fall leaves. Two coats shown, formula was excellent.

Triple Berry Pie - A blurple crelly base with flake glitters and pink shimmer.
A bit sheer but I enjoy it this way. Two coats shown, formula was good.

Saucy Minx - Pink with orange shimmer, bronze and pink flakies.
Raspberry shades like this look great on a wide variety of skin tones, and that shimmer! Two coats shown, formula was good.
