Star Wars Duo: The Dark Side/Empire

Lou It Yourself and Native War Paints got together and created this Dark Side duo in honor of the Rogue One movie coming out December 16th. The duo is $17 + shipping. They've also created a Light Side/Rebellion duo, which I'll also be reviewing separately. Both duos release December 9th at the Native War Paints shop.

Don't Fett About It

A wicked mossy green packed with coppery shimmers and holo sparkle, this is a polish you won't want to miss. I wore two coats with topcoat, formula was smooth and easy to apply.

With a powerful alien-like shifting shimmer and holo sparkle, this polish is sure to capture your attention. I wore two coats with topcoat and the formula was fantastic.

Great Lakes Lacquer: Love at Loyola

Love at Loyola was a VIP bag exclusive polish at Polish Con Chicago in September. It's a perfectly done vivid shade of raspberry packed with shimmer. The formula was smooth and amazing as usual, opaque in two coats.






After wearing this for a few days, I wondered how it would look with some bright blue stamping. So I tried it out - what do you think?




It was absolutely fantastic to meet and work with Mariah at the Polish Con! In this photo, it looks like serious business but she smiled a million smiles that day and greeted everyone at her booth with a hearty and welcoming hello. :)

Contrary Polish: Alexandrite

While working with Contrary Polish on The Color Box polish for the grey box, Carrie mentioned to me that she had made a shifty grey polish that she wanted to send to me, as it didn't fit into her collections.

For this one though she said she was inspired by Alexandrite (green to purple color-shifting stone) and then the polish morphed a bit. What she ended up with was a green to purple duochrome with a dark grey undertone.





The color combo reminded her of my inspiration photo, so she wanted to give it to me! I'm quite humbled by her generosity. I enjoyed working with her and getting to meet her at Polish Con.
