Laura from Polish Addict sent four polishes to me and even though she doesn't really do collections/sets, I noticed a theme among the polish she sent to me.
Summer! Surely everyone has at some point during a summer hit the beach, the pool, worn shades or lipstick or attended/had a wedding?
If you haven't, today's your day! We're going to do it all!

Let's start at the pool, shall we? Ah the crystal blue sparkling water, smell of chlorine, water splashing, diving board bouncing, slide..um sliding and kids sounding off with joy!
Pool Party is just that, a whole party in a bottle for your nails! Super sparkly holo goodness! I wore one coat over Sinful Colors Mint Apple for this look.
Pool Party is a glitter topper that has holo glitters in magenta, red, green, blue, teal, charcoal, lime green, silver and black



Rather have sand and surf? Ok! Beach Bound, we are! Coconut wafting through the air from the suntan lotion, teeny bikinis and big beach balls, sandcastles, colorful towels and the crash of the waves! We've arrived! I wore one coat over Lacquer Lust S-mauve-mente.
Beach Bound is a glitter topper with a mix of glitters in a variety of shapes and sizes. All kinds of "beach bound" colors you see at the beach!!



And now we'll gather 'round the beach for a White White Wedding, yes? Who's getting married!? I don't know, but I LOVE the colors they chose! I wore one coat over (index to pinky) China Glaze Pink Voltage, Nina Grin and Berry It, Sinful Colors Most Sinful, and Wet N Wild Glowstick.
White White Wedding is a mix of matte white glitter, mix of matte frost white glitter, micro holo silver glitter and micro rainbow iridescent glitter



And oh yes, we cannot forget our Lipstick & Shades for the drive home in the convertible 'vette! (a gal can dream right?!) This one is my very favorite of the four she sent, so I took extra photos of it! And a bonus macro shot! Loving those micro bar glitters in there! I wore one coat over Zoya Blu.
Lipstick & Shades is a glitter topper with matte white, black and gray glitters in a variety of shapes and sizes.



All the bottles she sent to me were jam packed with glitter and only needed one coat. All of them were easy to apply but since I wanted a few more of the big glitters than I was getting; I'd scoop the brush on the bottle neck to catch some. They were getting on the brush when I dipped it, but sometimes would slide off. Its the nature of the big glitter pieces and I don't mind it at all, I love chunky glitter!

KKcenterHK: Products Review

I was recently contacted by KKCenterHK.com offering to send some product samples to me in exchange for a review and use of my photos on their web page.
Their shop is well laid out and easy to navigate and they stock a variety of products from eyelashes to clothing.
They let me choose a few items from anything in their shop, so I chose a scented and slightly purple tinted base coat that came in a beautiful bottle, and a coppery glitter top coat.



The Best Sense base coat is scented lavender and while I didn't notice it while applying, it smelled great after it dried! The consistency of this base coat is thin so it easily glides onto the nail. I learned that with this one, it created tiny bubbles. So I played with it and figured out that I need to swipe only once and use only one coat. The base coat is clear on the nail, but I like that it looks purple in the bottle. :)



Next, I painted my nails with Loreal's Not a Cloud in Sight, a great color to go with the Ouqian glitter topper, B076. edit in: I just learned that this glitter topper is no longer in stock. Sorry guys. =/
The glitter topper has a very strong scent until its completely dry, it doesn't bother me but I thought I should mention it. The glitter in this polish is very sparkly and the stars are holographic! I don't think I have ever seen holo copper stars before! I wore one coat "dabrushed" on for even coverage.



The products arrived quickly for how far they had to travel to get to me and they were both securely wrapped in many layers of bubble wrap, then packed inside a mailer envelope. The staff was friendly throughout and at first very communicative with me but once I had the entry ready, I had to wait a while and follow up twice for a reply for the discount code.
