HHC is celebrating Halloween in their favorite way - GIVEAWAYS!!!!

Beginning Oct 1 and going through the month HHC will have giveaways in the Afterparty group. I have the trios from Rogue and Bluebird that are being given away to share with you today!



Bluebird Lacquer Monster Mash
a black jelly scattered holo with a green to red shimmer.




Bluebird Lacquer Pumpkin Smash
a pumpkin jelly with a mix of shifting flakies in greens, coppers, golds and oranges.




Bluebird Lacquer Itchy Costume Rash
a super dark purple (nearly black) to purple thermal with green-gold-red shifting iridescent flakies.
There may actually be a third shade in here (bottle in my shots and the macro shot).




Rogue Lacquer Hella Good Costumes
green and chartreuse metallic flakes with scattered holo and micro flakes.




Rogue Lacquer This is Hellaween
a medium gray crelly with orange metallic shards and copper gold green color shifting flakes.




Rogue Lacquer S’more Spooky Stories
a rich purple with holo flake and color shifting flakes.
This one is a morpher when topcoat is applied and is intended to be that way. It is super glowy, and I prefer it with topcoat as shown in the first four images.
Use a good base coat and/or double up on it if you wear enhancements, as it does stain enhancements but does not stain natural nails.



All polishes are shown in two coats with topcoat unless otherwise specified; formulas were good and easy to apply.

The only way to receive the trios is to win them in the HHC giveaways. When the giveaway concludes Oct. 31, HHC may bring the polishes back for pre-order if there is enough interest.

September Hella Holo Customs: Painted Polish

Painted Polish is one of this month's brands in the Hella Holo Customs group on facebook. The other brand featured is Glitter Daze, which I'll be reviewing in the next few days. The pre-order launch will be announced in the group and you'll need to be a member of Hella Holo Customs to get the purchase links for each polish.



The polishes have not yet been named, those will be added here when they're given by the HHC gals.

Dewdrop Dreams - a burgundy holo with scattered ultra-holographic glitters and a golden shimmer!





Blushing Blizzard - an icy blue holo with silver ultra-holographic glitters and a purple/pink shimmer!





Galaxy Gaze - a vampy oxford blue holo with silver and sky blue ultra-holographic glitters for that extra sparkle!





Each of these have perfect formula, good packaging and are opaque in two coats. Although, one coat might be enough in a pinch or where super bright lights are absent. Join the Hella Holo Customs group on facebook to find out the launch dates!

August Hella Holo Customs: KBShimmer

I am honored to be one of this month's guests for the Hello Holo Customs group on facebook. The brands featured in August are KBShimmer and Lacquester. The pre-order launch opens tonight at 11pm CDT and goes through September 5th. You'll need to be a member of Hella Holo Customs to get the purchase links for each polish.

The inspiration images are beautiful! I was able to find the original artist, Furstset, for the 'Holy Tree' image and gained his permission to use it here with credit given, but I could not locate the other artists so I have excluded those images. Descriptions below are provided by the brand and my comments will be at the end of the review.



That Goes Without Cyan (Polish B)
A perfect morning starts with a vibrant sun rising up to fill the turquoise blue sky with its glowing copper gold hue. This sun and sky inspired linear holo polish takes inspiration from the vibrant blue skies. An aqua leaning blue color, we accented this strong linear holo with bits of copper and gold for a sparkle even in low lighting. Best in 2 coats.






Pinking of Paradise (Polish A)
A setting sun softly tints the clouds a cotton candy pink, while crashing waves in a tropical aqua hue lap against pink sand. This photo of paradise has inspired our August Hello Holo custom polish. A softly tinted pink polish features our holo glow flakes. These flakes have a unique holo glow to them in bright lights, while in softer lighting, a turquoise shimmer pops out to say hello. This polish is sheer enough in one coat to layer over your favorite pink cream, but is best in 2-3 coats alone. One Holo-of-a Storm (Polish C)
A storm off in the horizon, the flash of lightening and setting sun fill the sky with deep dues of cobalt, periwinkle, pinks and fuchsia while reflecting natures artwork in the water below. This photo of the stormy seas has inspired our August Hello Holo custom polish. A periwinkle leaning blue polish, this holographic shade sparkles with holo glitters. At the right angles, a pink shimmery flake with blue shifts pops through for a vibrant polish your tips and toes will love. If you like our Mega Flame finish, this shimmery cousin to that collection is perfect for you! Best in 2-3 coat






Each of these have perfect formula, beautiful packaging and are opaque in two coats. The color descriptions given by the brand are spot on, and I didn't notice any staining on removal. For Polish C I used the foil method for removal to make it a breeze, as it does include tiny glitters.

Literary Lacquers: HHC Polishes

HHC is Hella Holo Customs, which is a secret group on facebook that invites various brands to make custom polishes for the group. The polishes are exclusive to the group, so you must be a member to purchase them.
These are the three polishes made by Literary Lacquers for the group, and I think she did a fantastic job. Each of them unusual and stunning.

Wherever Is Your Heart - Magenta-purple linear holo with aqua shimmer.
The name is from The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
I was absolutely wowed by this polish when I unwrapped the bottle and even more so after applying it. It's such an electric color and the flakies just flash like a disco ball! I'm completely over the moon with this polish! Two coats for opacity and a perfect formula.





There Is Your Treasure - Periwinkle linear holo with pink shimmer and flakies.
The name is from The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
Such a beautifully done perwinkle! You may be thinking there are similar shades to this out there, but they are lacking the sparkly flakies this one has! Opaque in two easy coats.





For the Rest of Us - Cranberry chrome linear holo, part of the Festivus for the Rest of Us duo with Nvr Enuff polish.
I love the teeny tiny micro glitter in this, unusual for sure. I wore two coats, but this polish is more opaque than most LitLaq holos. If care is taken, I think this could be a one coater.





I used a matte topcoat and then stamped the snowflakes from plate MR-02 - and this polish is STILL holo! o.o
