Kitty Glitter and My Friend Carol

Whimsical Ideas by Pam - Kitty Glitter
I wore this over two coats of In a Tiff by Nina Ultra Pro which is a dupe for the Tiffany company jewelry box color.
Pam's creation has two different sizes of silver hex glitter (medium and micro) in a blue-green jelly base.

The second swatch photo is with Hard Candy matte top coat. Mattify all the things!

I really enjoyed wearing this color and the application was easy peasy.

My Friend Carol is another of Pam's pretty creations. 1 coat My Friend Carol over 2 coats of CQ Angel - one topped with HKG and one topped with Hard Candy matte top coat.

Have you tried any of Pam's polishes?

Going Matte Again

Loving the Hard Candy matte top coat much better than the China Glaze brand. I found that I got occassional cracking and chipping when using the China Glaze, but not with Hard Candy. I've mattified my current mani - Nimbus which is 1 coat over two coats of Loreal High Tide. High Tide is a near dupe of China Glaze Seaspray, so if you cannot locate High Tide, SS is definitely an option. :)

Like clouds? Whimsical Ideas By Pam: Nimbus

Then you will love Nimbus from Whimsical Ideas by Pam! Just look at this beauty!

Nimbus contains silver bar glitter, two sizes of silver hex glitter, pink hex glitter, smaller silver and pink round glitter, and teeeeeeny tiny micro silver and iridescent glitter that flashes purple and blue.

Pam's inspiration for this polish was her kitty named Nimbus. "this polish was named after my first amazing kitty, "nimbus", who lived to the ripe old age of 18. she was a stunning little silver persian who looked just like a cloud."

I'm wearing one coat of Nimbus over two coats of Loreal High Tide which is a dupe of China Glaze Sea Spray. I think its the perfect underwear for two reasons: It shows off all the glitters and its sky blue color fits in well with the cloud theme. :)

See those purple hex glitters? That is actually silver hex glitters reflecting purple from my lamp! Isn't that the coolest thing!? Nimbus is like a chameleon!

Below are some nail wheel swatches I created while choosing what color to wear Nimbus over. As you can see, Nimbus looks great on all of them.

Whimsical Ideas by Pam Nancy's Birthday

Nancy's Birthday from Whimsical Ideas by Pam is such a fun and festive color! I thoroughly enjoyed wearing it this week.
Just look at the rainbow of confetti in the girly pink base!

Wait, take a closer look!

First with gloss - a huge hit at work! My hand was grabbed a few times so they could have a better look!
This is two coats of Nancy's Birthday over two coats of I Believe In Amour from Color Club, the perfect match!

And of course I topped it with matte top coat near the end of the week! Pam tells me that this polish is named after her favorite sister, isn't that sweet!?

A Matte Green Thumb? Of course!! :D

Mattified around day five or six, and worn for another two days. It wore like iron and although tip wear is visible in the photo, it wasn't as apparent to the eye. :)
I love that color, the shredded glitter flakes, green bar glitters, teensy weensy gold glitter - simply gorgeous!!

Green Thumb

This week's mani is called Green Thumb and is made by an indie polish shop called Whimsical Ideas by Pam

Gold and green micro glitter, green bar glitter, and lime green shreds swim in a sea of green shimmer filled jelly. Absolutely stunning in the bottle, take a look!

Even more stunning on the nail!

I first tried Green Thumb on its own, but at three coats I thought it was a little thick so I removed and tried it with underwear. Photo shows one coat Nina Salsa for underwear, two coats Green Thumb, Gelous and SV.

Pam's PBnJ - mattified! :D

Still loving this polish that Pam gifted to me as a surprise!
Simply gorgeous glossy like before in this post and gorgeous after with matte top coat!
Don't ya think?

Absolutely outstanding polish among the three that I got from Pam, its glossy, sparkly, and sooo easy to apply. Builds in two coats! :D

Peanut Butter and Jelly anyone?

I am absolutely LOVING this polish! Its soooooo gorgeous! It went on like buttah! I used two coats and then topped it with Gelous and SV. Just look at the sparkly!

Peanut Butter and Jelly is very squishy, very easy to apply, (love the brush!), and so darn gorgeous!

Polish and Bottle Spam!

First, a mattified I Believe in Fairies! Isn't it gorgeous this way too!?

I've had some awesome nail mail days lately, especially this gift package from Pam. The timing could not have been better. I'd had a pretty chaotic and stressful week and this arrived unexpectedly and brightened my day! Along with Peanut Butter and Jelly and Kismet's Pajamas, was a thank you note from Pam for reviewing the Fairies polish previously. What a sweetheart! :)

For my mani this week I chose Kismet's Pajamas from Whimsical Ideas by Pam. KP has a charcoal jelly base with tons of gorgeous silver and hot pink hex glitter, as well as silver micro glitter. I'm wearing this over Orly Shine, which is a silver foil topped with two coats of KP. As you can see, the jelly base builds to black pretty well. I like it both ways, but I'm a sperg and -had- to do two coats. Pam's polishes are so beautiful and have such depth, I am really impressed with all three of these and cannot wait to wear Peanut Butter and Jelly!

More bottle spam from the rest of my lovely nail mail! A few swaps and purchases from the blue and other Indie polish shops.

Front and back of these, cause they're tough to see from the front:

Whimsical Ideas by Pam: I Believe In Fairies

Today I received a new nail polish from Whimsical Ideas by Pam. When I first saw it, I knew I had to have it!
Purple, Sparkly, Glitter, Stars and the mention of Fairies? Yes please!

I first found Pam on facebook by sheer accident, and when I spotted her polishes I knew I had to have one!
As I perused her facebook album and page, I spotted the one!
I then contacted her via email to inquire and she responded faster than I could click send! When I asked to make the purchase, I had an invoice in minutes! Pam brought a smile to my face with her friendly humor in our email conversations; and take a peek at the TAT: ordered - 3/13 late:30, arrived - 3/16, wow!

All that and a bag of chips! Just look at this bottle! Its square, which I love, and is adorned with the cutest perfect little bow!

Micro glitter, check! Holo hex glitter, check! Twinkling pink stars, check! -swoons-

Wanna see it in action? Mmmmm! Delicious Jelly!

Get yours!
