Each of the first three notes are combined with the fourth, creating a cohesive and layerable collection of fragrance. Each fragrance represents three different seasons as well, spring, summer, and winter. And because I was feeling fancy and my partner is French, I gave them French inspired names. They launch at Polish & Beauty Expo next weekend and will be available at the LynB website August 8. Please enjoy!

Custom front labels - Jennalyn surprised me with this Art Deco style label that included my blog name. I absolutely love it!

Lavende Embrasser - Top Notes: Whipped Cream, Lavender
Mid Notes: Caramel, Benzoin
Base Notes: White Musk, Tonka
Lavender makes me so happy and calm, almost euphoric! Lavender reminds me of spring when flowers begin to bloom and all the baby animals are seeing the world for the first time. I made sure the lavender note in this perfume was more chocolatey, less of a floral and not heady or sharp. Jennalyn did a fantastic job of sourcing the lavender and blending it with the other notes. I could live in a "Lavender Embrace" forever.

Citron Soleil - Top Notes: Whipped Cream, Lemon
Mid Notes: Caramel, Benzoin
Base Notes: White Musk, Tonka
Who doesn't love a sunny lemony fragrance? I chose lemon because it is bright and cheerful, perfect for summer time. I wanted a soft lemon rather than astringent and LynB was able to find just that. The result is the perfect lemon meringue style blend so you can have summertime all day!

Ambre de la Lune - Top Notes: Whipped Cream, Sugar
Mid Notes: Caramel, Benzoin
Base Notes: White Musk, Amber
Oh Amber, how sticky and resinous art thou! One of my favorite base notes for just about any perfume! The amber base here amplifies the sweet cream and caramel notes like the most sugary holiday dessert. For its name, I chose the moon because I typically choose to wear amber heavy scents in the cool winter evenings, all snuggled up by a fire with a hot drink. The fragrance feels like home and comfort.
