Polish Pickup: July Rewind 2021

The PPU theme for July is Rewind, where select past Polish Pickup items are brought back. Some items are at the PPU site and others are at the brand's site. I've got a few to show you today, these are all launching on July 2, unless otherwise noted below.

Great Lakes Lacquer The Scorpion, The Serpent, The Phoenix
Inspired by the astrological sign of Scorpio, this is a purple based multichrome with shifts of blush, silver, lime, aqua, and fuchsia.
I reviewed this in 2019, and just saw that this is part of the rewind so I've added my swatches to this entry. :)

KBShimmer He Slimed Me (at the PPU site)
A slime-colored neon green polish inspired by that well known ghost from Ghostbusters. The polish is loaded with color-shifting flakes of gold and green and a hint of holographic micro flakes.
No cap

The green is such a vibrant shade and the flakes packed in there make it sparkle and shift like crazy! Shown in two coats with topcoat. I wore this shade for over a week with no chipping!

KBShimmer Spun Sugar sugar scrub (at the PPU site)
Inspired by sweet aromas from the State Fair, and visually designed with a swirl of pastel shades like rainbow cotton candy.
The scent starts with sugary notes of raspberry cotton candy and tart lemon and is anchored together with undertones of musk and caramel.

If you enjoy Aquolina's Pink Sugar or Prada Candy perfumes, you will love this scent! Those have been my all time favorites since 2004 and this scrub smells just like them! Good enough to eat, but don't! The visual design of the pastel swirl makes my heart smile.

KBShimmer Fruit Slices, Yummy Yummy (at the KBShimmer site)
Inspired by gummy candy covered in sugary crystals.
A bright, coral jelly polish accented by flakes that shift from orange to yellow and green and micro holographic flakes.
No cap

I have found that this polish leans pink or orange under varied lighting. It's a morpher and is one of those that will go well with a variety of skin tones!

I'm also showing this with a matte topcoat in the next photo, because why not?

KBShimmer Fresh Peach sugar scrub (at the KBShimmer site, available now)
Inspired by the Peach Pit from the show Beverly Hills 90210
This scrub smells like the first bite of a juicy ripe peach. One whiff of the scrub and you'll be reminded of the velvety skin and the sweet yet tart juice running down your chin. The scent truly captures the smell of a fresh peach and is echoed by swirls of yellow, orange and pink. The top is dusted with biodegradable glitter for added sparkle.

A thermal that transitions from a dark blackish purple when cold to medium barbie pink when warm. It’s packed with orange to pink to gold iridescent flakes and holographic shimmer

Shown with two coats and topcoat. Such a beautiful thermal and can morph under different lighting to look more mauve or more brownish. In love with this shade!

LynB Salty Bish (at the LynB site, July 2-31)
A pastel cornflower blue base with blue to purple to green and pink to blue to purple shifting flakes, pink to purple to gold shifting shimmer and holo micro flakies
no cap

Shown with four coats and topcoat. It is quite sheer, and I wonder now how it would work over a cream shade, perhaps a navy cream?
