Whimsical Ideas: Spring Collection 2013

Products provided for review.

You may have already seen that bottle shot on the Whimsical Ideas facebook page, but have you seen the swatches?

I love several of these polishes and like her others, these are easy to apply and give a good glitter payoff in two coats. I'm using Pam's descriptions of each polish with the photos below.

Feast your eyes! :)

Back to the Garden is worn over Revlon Powder Puff.
"Inspired by Joni Mitchell’s “Woodstock”, this has all different sizes and shapes of pastel satin glitter, including lavender flowers and pink butterflies."

La De Dots is worn over Ulta's Tutu Cute.
"Annie Hall inspired the name, and since my birthday is in the spring, I decided to do something festive. This has a clear base with multi-coloured dots. Period."

Mattified with Kiss Matte

Jelly sandwiched with Loreal Lilac Cooler

14 Carrots
is three coats on its own, so squishy!
"True orange jelly with orange hexes and micro glitter."

Mattified with Kiss Matte

And I've saved the limited edition Crazy Daisies for last. Its my favorite from this release because I love the daisies, the color combo and omg neons! I've worn two coats over Sally Hansen Whirlwind White.
"Named and labeled by my niece, this has a banana yellow jelly base with assorted orange matte glitters, including daisies. Layer this over white, and the polish becomes neon!"

The polishes are available at the Whimsical Ideas facebook page. Please check there for ordering information, she's made a post with details.

I really enjoyed swatching these because seeing the bottles when I got them didn't tell me a whole lot about the polishes. It was kind a surprise as I swatched each one! oooo shapes! ooo jelly! omg neon! :D
Which Whimsical is your favorite?

    1. Oh my gosh so you've visited me twice! Thank you so much for coming back to my blog! I really appreciate it! :) So glad you got the other one, I think you'll love it if you love the photo! :) I kinda wanted to try Back to the Garden over black, but I had a short time to get them all swatched. Perhaps sometime, and if you try it over black be sure to share!
