Christy is not one for scary things; she stays away from horror movies, haunted houses, and anything with a jump scare. There was one night though when a colorfully lit-up, hotel-like ride beckoned her to come in and stay, camouflaging the sudden drops and terrifying upward launches that only a haunted hotel elevator could offer. When she walked past the subliminal message to take the stairs and just let herself enjoy the experience, that tower went from terrifying to terrific, inspiring her September polish.
