Alter Ego releases monthly polish shades in her Color of the Month series. I have the first three months for this year to share today!




Garnet - the coppery red color is inspired by the natural uncut garnet stone and it's magnetic!

Shown in two coats, magnetized with a bar magnet



Not magnetized:




Amethyst - purple jelly-like base with clear microglitter




Moonstone - shimmery dark green base with metallic red flakes



Each polish is shown in two coats with topcoat, the formulas were good/no issues. Available now at https://wisconsinsoap.com.

A bright red jelly filled with orange to green shifting flakies and added holo shimmer
Inspired by Stephen King's The Shining
Cap: 100

The shimmer in this polish is so pretty, prominently pink/purple which is causing the polish to read slightly more pink on camera! The bottle color is another tone you'll see on the nail too. It's a beauty, if you like the color tones you see here you'll like the polish even more in person!

Alter Ego Ice Cream Dinner Plate Japanese Iris
A shimmery sparkly steel blue base with gold shimmer
No cap

This polish reminds me so much of the long sought after Zoya Crystal but much more sparkly! If you missed out on that one then you definitely need this one! Such a beautifully done chromey shimmery polish! Shown in two coats with topcoat.




Lollipop Posse Puncha Yo Buns
A teal crelly packed with green to indigo shifting Aurora shimmer and holographic microflakes. Inspired by Baby Finn and his "Puncha Yo Buns" song and dance!
No Cap

So freaking shifty and glowy! That glow - no camera trickery ya'll. It really is that lit from within! The holo flake adds that extra pop! Shown in two coats with topcoat, formula was good/no issues.



LynB Designs Blood of My Blood
A burgundy based multichrome that shifts from green to blue to purple to pink with hints of holo sparkle
Cap: 100

Quite a shifty and mysteriously dark polish, but oh look! It shifts to a bright magenta under some lighting angles!
