Polish Pick Up: May 2020

The theme this month for Polish Pickup is Candy Land! Launch is May 1 at 10am Central through May 4th, 11pm Central. All the brands have beautiful items this month, and I have some of them to share with you!




77 Nail Lacquer Eye Candy
Inspired by the Candytopia interactive art installation.
A pinkish candy apple red base with blue to purple to red shifting pigment and gold holographic micropigment
Cap: US/190 UK/10

The shimmer in this is such a pretty compliment to the vibrant pink/red base!






77 Nail Lacquer Sugar Sugar
Inspired by the Candytopia interactive art installation.
A clear base with blue to pink to purple shifting pigment, iridescent rainbow microshreds and iridescent rainbow flakies.
Cap US/190 UK/10

I've used two coats of the topper over Eye Candy and it totally intensifies the shimmer! The final batches of this topper will have more flake added to them to ensure more flakes on the nail.






Blush Here Fishy Fishy
A royal blue crelly base with a sea of red-orange-gold shifting multichrome flakes and a pink-orange shifting shimmer.
No cap

Straight up royal blue if I ever saw it and the flakes make it even more special.






KBShimmer Fruit Slices, Yummy Yummy
Inspired by gummy candy covered in sugary crystals.
A bright, coral jelly polish accented by flakes that shift from orange to yellow and green and micro holographic flakes.
No cap

I have found that this polish leans pink or orange under varied lighting. It's a morpher and is one of those that will go well with a variety of skin tones!




I'm also showing this with a matte topcoat in the next photo, because why not?




KBShimmer Spun Sugar sugar scrub
Inspired by sweet aromas from the State Fair, and visually designed with a swirl of pastel shades like rainbow cotton candy.
The scent starts with sugary notes of raspberry cotton candy and tart lemon and is anchored together with undertones of musk and caramel.

If you enjoy Aquolina's Pink Sugar or Prada Candy perfumes, you will love this scent! Those have been my all time favorites since 2004 and this scrub smells just like them! Good enough to eat, but don't! The visual design of the pastel swirl makes my heart smile.

The Child - Sea Green crelly with aurora shimmer and ultra holo glitter.
Such a perfectly mint green! It is so eye catchingly vibrant and sparkly!






This Is The Way - Gray crelly with aurora shimmer, shifting iridescent flakies and ultra holo glitter.
Loving the smokey effect the gray crelly base creates!







I Have Spoken - Holo base with shifting multichrome flakies, copper microglitter & copper ultra holo glitter.
Such a show stopper! Flake, holo, glitter!!





Each polish is shown in two coats with topcoat. The small brush makes it easier to polish small nails, as you can see I've got shorties so really loving that brush! The formula for each of these was smooth and easy to apply, just as other polishes from Glam Polish.
