KBShimmer: Mix It Up Collection, Vol. 2

It’s time to grab a cool drink with friends, flip that cassette tape to the B-side, and return to an era where neon ruled and big hair was all the rage. KBShimmer brings back the vibrant spirit of the past with The Mix It Up Collection – Vol. 2. The collection features nine retro-inspired, sun-worn neon crème nail polishes and a white glitter topper. These summer shades launch on June 2nd at KBShimmer.com and other online retailers.




Playing Heart to Get is a lightly faded neon pink crème nail polish with coral undertones. The hint of orange adds warmth to the neon pink, pairing beautifully with summer tans. This shade is blacklight-reactive.




Smack Talking is a sun-worn neon coral crème nail polish with pink undertones. This versatile shade flatters various skin tones, giving a soft, sun-kissed look. This shade is blacklight-reactive.




Push Your Luck is a bleached orange-yellow crème nail polish that captures the essence of summer. Its citrusy, blacklight-reactive shade is perfect for a bold pedicure.




Juice The Cutest is a faded neon yellow crème nail polish with a hint of chartreuse undertones.




Love Bytes is a faded neon lime green crème nail polish, inspired by the nostalgic 8-bit glow. This shade is blacklight-reactive.




Track Record is a sun-bleached periwinkle crème nail polish. Glows purple under blacklight, adding a playful twist.




Book It is a cool-toned, sun-washed purple crème nail polish.




Crimp My Style is a bleached neon orchid purple crème nail polish. A creamy, blacklight-reflective shade that provides full coverage with two coats.




Ex-Static is a white glitter topper that perfectly complements the faded neon ceams, creating a manicures with endless possibilities! The blend of white shred, dot, mini star, square, and hex glitters mimics a static-like effect. Each of these is finished with Smooth Moves and then Clearly On Top for a glassy look.




All of my swatches are shown in two to three thick coats with Clearly On Top topcoat. The neons had the typical pastel type formula, meaning that some patchiness or pulling is to be expected. The best way to apply these is swiping once down the nail as you create each coat, avoid going over the same area with the brush until the coat is mostly dry. All photography uses a neutral color temperature bulb and white background with white bounce card. My nails are natural with no enhancements and no blurring/cream base, I have a fairly prominent VNL.

Victorian Varnish: Love Is Magical - a smoky Indigo jelly base loaded with scattered holo, and ghost flakies ranging in the rainbow. Created for Pride month and inspired by Birmingham's theme for Pride 2025 - The Magic of Pride in the Magic City! $3 will be donated to Magic City Acceptance Center in Birmingham, AL for each polish sold.




Victorian Varnish: Twilight Equestria - a multichromatic magnetic in blue/purple/aqua/green shifts with aurora holo shimmer that intensifies to a beautiful rainbow once magnetized. 300 Cap




Victorian Varnish: Rainbows Lavish - Sweet and tart! Hints of pineapple, fresh lime, orange and raspberry with loads of sweet, sugary vanilla.




Victorian Varnish: Rainbows and Unicorns Tincture Duo - Shake well, remove the reducer cap and simply add the whole bottle of Tincture to 10-12 ounces of pure acetone, or use the reducer cap and add a few drops to a small dish of acetone for cuticle clean-up.
Rainbows - Sweet and tart! Hints of pineapple, fresh lime, orange and raspberry with loads of sweet, sugary vanilla.
Unicorns - A refreshing blend of pepino melon and lemon water opens with a burst of crisp, fruity freshness. Cool cucumber and citrus add a zesty touch, while basil and lime bring a vibrant, herbal lift. The warmth of palm adds a tropical finish, creating a clean, energizing scent that captures the essence of a sunny, summer escape.




All of my swatches are shown in two thick coats with topcoat and had no formula issues unless otherwise stated. All photography uses a neutral color temperature bulb and white background with white bounce card. My nails are natural with no enhancements and no blurring/cream base, I have a fairly prominent VNL.
