Sweet Heart Polish: Garden Party

Garden parties are always so much fun! The smell of sweet florals, little honeybees busily collecting nectar, food, wine, sunshine, delicate shimmery petals of such vibrantly colored flowers - a really relaxing time! I love going to them, but I also like "me" time at home and it's getting colder out.

So I had my own at home variation of bringing a little 'sunshine and flowers' indoors with with the Garden Party collection from Sweet Heart Polish! Each of these is fairly sheer in one coat, so I think they'd make awesome non-greying tinted holo toppers or you can build them to opacity in 2-3 coats. I wore three coats of each polish in my photos below. I've used the shop's descriptions for these because they're spot on!

Hyacinth is a holographic royal blue polish with a purple shimmer flash.

Clementine is a holographic light berry polish with hints of purple holographic glitter mixed in. *favorite!*

Dahlia is a holographic juicy purple polish with purple flakes.

Hellebore is a holographic pale green polish.

Purple Lotus is a holographic light purple/lavender polish.

These are all very glossy on their own, but with topcoat added on top they're super glassy and shine like crazy! And with using three coats, there's a depth created that you just don't get with polishes that are opaque in one coat. I really enjoyed wearing these and the small flat brushes make it super easy to control application so I had very little to no clean up!

Visit Sweet Heart Polish and pick up a few to bring a little sunshine and flowers your way!

Sweet Heart Polish: The Girl Who Has Everything duo

The Girl Who Has Everything nail polish duo, is based on Ariel's Undersea Adventure at Disney California Adventure and will be available to purchase from Sweet Heart Polish and Sea Lore Polish on Saturday November 8th at 2pm CST.

"Flipping Your Fins" is a cerulean blue holographic jelly with blue to green shifting shimmer. This shade is quite the chameleon, in some lights it shows off the holographic sparkle and blue base color, and in other lights you can see the green/blue color shift which makes the polish look teal. I think Cassandra's inspiration of Arial looking upward from under the sea toward the sunlight shining through the water was captured very well in this bottle of polish. It's packed with sparkle and shimmer and is simply stunning! I wore two coats and topcoat for these photos.

Under the Sea is a cobalt blue jelly with green shimmer, holographic sparkle and various sizes of rainbow glitters throughout. Just like peering into the sparkling ocean and admiring all of those bright and beautiful sea creatures living beneath the sea. In two coats, this polish has a lot of depth and covers vnl very nicely.

Both polishes can be worn alone or together for the perfect Little Mermaid mani! Here, I've layered one coat of Under the Sea over Flipping Your Fins which allows for a more sparse glitter look and is slightly darker than when worn alone.

How would you wear this duo? Layered, alone or something totally different?

Glam Polish:Limited Edition Holo Gift Box

Glam Polish has three fun limited edition holo gift boxes to add extra glam to your holidays. They are offering a mini size gift box and two options in full size gift boxes. These are very limited in number to approximately 130 boxes total. The four polishes seen here are only available in the boxes, so if you like them this will be the only chance to get them!

The box comes with four minis, an unscented cuticle balm and a Red Velvet lip butter.

I used the cuticle balm during the time I wore these polishes and I like it quite a bit! It's not heavy or stiff, in fact it melts very nicely and smooths on easily, almost like a lotion or cream does. The balm soaks in quickly for a nice moisturized, photo ready mani.

The Red Velvet scented lip balm has a similar feel as the cuticle balm once applied, but it stays in a state solid enough not to be liquidy and feels like, well, velvet!
Glam Polish has really got great formulas for both of these products and best of all, the ingredients appear to be all natural in BOTH products!

The polishes are all easily one coaters, I used two coats with Elf and then quickly realized I only needed one coat, so all but Elf are showing one coat with top coat. The formula is of good consistency, easily controllable and I found the mini size very easy to use as the cap and brush are very similar to full size.

Since the box comes with nail studs, I created a few nail art looks with them. This is the first time I've used nail art studs and they're really easy. I placed four of them on my nail prep area and then used a wooden mani stick dabbed in top coat to pick up the studs and place them onto my nails. After that, I added topcoat to each nail and viola! Easy peasy!
