The Coquette's Adventure is Blush's debut metallic collection inspired by the artwork of Vittorio Reggianini. He was a 19th century Italian genre painter who specialized in scenes of bourgeois life in the late 1800's to early 1900's. His paintings are sophisticated and showcase a highly romanticized ideal of life and culture during a time a war, often including scenes of elegantly dressed women sitting in parlors playing piano, writing letters to their lovers or listening to poetry readings. There is a strong emphasis in his paintings on the silk and satin dresses worn by the women and of the wall and floor coverings draping the rooms. They have a shiny and almost metallic textural quality to them that add a richness and depth to his work. The palette is light and flirty with an air of feminine sensibility and perfect for spring.

The Coquette's Adventure collection features Blush's all new sparkling metallic formula that utilizes extra fine silver flake particles for a brilliant metallic effect. These polishes have great coverage in 2 coats and look amazing finished with either a glossy or matte top coat. Glossy top coats will really bring out the sparkle and Blush's Matterial Girl Matte Top Coat will give a fantastic "brushed metal" look that is super chic!

Each polish below is shown in two coats with glossy and matte top coat. The formula for these is fantastic, and they all stamp!

Attraction: A metallic mauve with hints of pink.









Flirtation: A metallic rose gold with hints of peach.









Admiration: A metallic pale lime green.










The Suitor: A metallic icy blue.








Stamping done with The Suitor over a black cream. All four polishes stamp well however; the color is quite subtle and more or less indistinguishable from a distance.

The formula for all of these is fantastic! A nice amount of glitter without any fishing, no streaking or glomming up, totally smooth and effortless to apply. I'm showing two coats of each of these with topcoat added. Please let me know if you have other questions about these polishes. :)
