HHC January: Pahlish

Hella Holo Customs featured guests for January are Great Lakes Lacquer and Pahlish. They've both made beautiful polishes which are available January 14 through the end of the month to HHC Members only. You'll need to join the facebook group to get the sale link.



Pahlish Nocturne
A navy ocean densely scattered holographic with orange and pink chameleon flakes.
I could totally get lost in this sea of polish. So calming and beautiful. Two coats.





Pahlish Undisguised
A deep violet with a mix of holographic pigments and flakes with scattered chameleon flakes and a green shifting shimmer.
I totally fell for this polish! Purple with sparks of green and every other color of the rainbow, how could I not? Two coats.





Pahlish Briar Rose
A mauve rose with tons of holo flakes and dense green shifting shimmer.
Often an overlooked shade, this one is hard to miss with all its sparkly-ness! Two coats.





Pahlish Snowbound
A soft lilac with a mix of holographic pigments and flakes with orange/pink chameleon flakes and a glowing copper shimmer.
So femme and delicate, definitely office appropriate even with its flashy sparks of holo! Two coats.






All of these HHC polishes are absolutely beautiful and it's good to see Pahlish at HHC. My favorites in this collection are Undisguised because of its purpleness and rainbow spark and Nocturne because of how calming yet fun it is to look at. The application for each of these was smooth and easy!

HHC January: Great Lakes Lacquer

The polishes are not yet named, so they have generic references. I will edit in the names when they've been selected. :)

From Darkness Comes Light
A green leaning teal linear holographic with gold to bronze multichrome flake and shimmer that shifts from blue to purple.
Such a rich shade with so many facets of color! Two coats.








So Sweet And So Cold
A light lilac based linear holographic boldened by holo micro flake and brightened with blue, purple, aqua, and green shimmer.
It has such a glowy sheen to it and a sort of calming effect. Two Coats.







Whatever Our Souls Are Made Of
A light icy blue linear holographic enriched with shifting shimmer that hits pink, orange, and gold.
Does this polish lean more pink, purple, blue, orange? I don't know, it's all the things! Two coats.








And I wanted to test whether this could be used as a topper and I am happy to report: Yes! It makes a great topper! Seen here in one coat over Literary Lacquers Grin Without a Cat.





The Rush Of Brightness
A bright, cobalt blue teaming with iridescent shifting flake and shimmer that runs through orangey copper to gold to green, finished with scattered holographic sparks.
Oh, paradise in a bottle. That's what this is. Two coats.









And its many facets of shiftyness!

All of these HHC polishes are absolutely beautiful and it's good to see Great Lakes Lacquer back again. My favorites in this collection are The Rush Of Brightness because of its fiery flakes and Whatever Our Souls Are Made Of because of its versatility. It's simply beautiful on its own or over another polish. The formula on each of these was fantastic!

Shimmer Me Box: Winter Wonderland

The theme for the next Shimmer Me Box is Winter Wonderland and its release is on 1/12, noon eastern at Native War Paints. The special guest this month is Colores de Carol, who has created a bright aqua polish with golden shimmer and scattered holo.




Ice Queen
Turquoise blue with gold shimmer and scattered holographic glitter.
Great formula! Two coats.






A Cold Day in Texas
Dusty blue to nude thermal with bronze and blue flakies, gold shimmer and scattered holographic.
Formula was fantastic and a fun thermal! Two coats.






Frozen Village
Purple to hot pink thermal with blue and pink shimmer.
Who doesn't like pink and purple? Awesome formula, two coats.






Above the Mountains
Black holo jelly base with red shimmer, scattered holo, and blue micro flakies.
Mysteriously dark purple with flake. Two coats.
