Tonic: Neon Brights Water Marble Nail Art

Shall we get this party started? The upcoming Tonic Neon Brights glow under blacklight and they watermarble!

xoxoJen's swatch of Tonic: Neon Brights

Bottle shots anyone? I was so excited when these glowed under my black light, that I squealed out loud!

xoxoJen's swatch of Tonic: Neon Brights

And then, I had to do a watermarble!
I used one coat of I'm So Sweet for my base.

And of course, immediately put it under a blacklight!

Tonic: Creams

Tonic has created some new creams in four rich shades as well as a white! These are all available at https://www.tonicpolish.com/

xoxoJen's swatch of Tonic Creams

Clover is a deep, cool toned green cream.
Fantastic shade for St. Patrick's Day coming up soon - imagine this with gold or multichrome flake on top!

Crimson is a true cool toned red cream.
Beautiful shade, perfect for Valentine's and all of the patriotic holidays, as well as Christmas. I love a good blue-leaning red and this one fits the bill!

Ocean Eyes is a perfect cerulean blue cream.
Paired with the red and white would make for a patriotic look!

Optic is a pure, solid white cream.
A staple in most polish fanatics' stashes, great worn alone, as a base for a topper or nail art or paired up for a festive holiday look.

Water Marble is done with all four shades, using Optic as the base and in the marble. I was able to get 10 rings in a small glass cup for the marble. I did two different patterns for this look, one was dragged a little more than the other so you can see how it can be done with a sort of blended effect and a more crisp effect.

The formula for all of these was good. The white is quite opaque however; I used three coats to get it smoothed out. For all the other shades I used two coats. I really enjoyed the rich tones of each of these and hope that Lindsey will continue to make creams, I think she has a knack for it!

GIrly Bits: Let Love Grow

Girly Bits released the six piece Bridal Bliss collection of pastel creams this summer and in it is Let Love Grow, a pastel mint green cream.

The formula was creamy and nearly opaque in one coat, shown is two topped with topcoat.

Girly Bits Watermarble: Stamped!

After I wore my Girly Bits watermarble for several days, I stamped over it!
I used a Christmas plate set of 3 that I got last year from Aliexpress. It doesn't really have a brand name, just MR 01, 02 and 03. They all have super cute images on them for the season.

To stamp I used Jolie One Helluva Holo - it is super sparkly and opaque, stamps perfectly every time.

Hope you enjoyed the review, and don't forget to comment and follow me on your favorite social media!

Girly Bits: Water Marble

Tonight I decided to create a water marble design inspired by Sveta's Bracelet and water marble design of it.
The Girly Bits Fall Part 1 polishes are perfect for it!

First, I prepped my nails with a coat of Funky Fingers Gesso, which is a white cream. It's quick to dry and only took one coat.

xoxoJen's swatch of Girly Bits: Water Marble

I used Walnuts About You, Stump Up the Jam and Sea You Next Fall from Girly Bits and Presence from Pretty Serious to create my bullseye.
I used a condiment cup which I realize now was a bit too shallow. I prefer a little more depth to make sure I don't damage the design while clearing the water's surface.

xoxoJen's swatch of Girly Bits: Water Marble

I used a total of 8-10 drops of polish per bullseye. When the teal and white were next to each other they blended which made a really pretty bright aqua.
I've been wanting to recreate this design for almost three years, and am very pleased with the result; however, I still love the original design most.

Happy Thanksgiving!
What design are you wearing for the holiday?

Not only are these shades pretty but they're a game changer. They pick up and transfer perfectly for stamping the first time, every time I stamped. They roll off the stamper beautifully, and clean up is a breeze. You need these, it would be crime not to have them in your stash.

Neon Rainbow Water Marble Nail Art

I bought the A Night in Vegas neons from Pipe Dream Polish in October of last year and finally had an opportunity to use them to do a water marble. I chose a rainbow design and learned how to do it from a video by Yagala on Youtube. She gave some really great tips and her technique is great!

I have worn these since Friday and don't plan to remove them until I absolutely have to. I'm in love!

This is the second water marble I have ever done and I have to say I'm proud of it! Will you try water marbling?
