HHC 7th Anniversary Giveaway

HHC's 7th Anniversary polishes will be given away the entire month of February 2022 in the Hella Handmade Creations Afterparty Facebook group. If there is enough interest, HHC may list these for sale after February.



Āwikiwiki - A deep purple base with aurora pigment and iridescent flakes that shift green to gold to red



Holo Holo - a deep blue base filled with pigment that shifts aqua blue to navy blue as well as micro holographic pigment



Kohala - a deep pink base with shimmer that shifts gold to red and purple micro glitter



Aloha Nui Loa - greigey base with orange undertones with holographic pigments and pink-orange-gold shifting shimmer



Malama - a blue heavy blurple with subtle shimmer and stacked with red and blue holographic micro glitters, red metallic flakes and iridescent shifting flakes



Pokai Bay - a sheer turquoise base packed with blue/indigo Aurora and turquoise metallic flakes



Be sure to join the group so you can enter their giveaways! Formula was good for all six polishes, no issues to report. All the Atomic polishes are shown in two coats, the Swamp Gloss polishes are shown in three.

Atomic Polish: Base and Top Coats

Atomic Polish sent her two top coats and her sticky base for me to try out! I got good results with each of them. Read on to see what I thought.



GTC - Scented Glossy Top Coat
Choose your own scent from a variety of fragrances! It dries in a couple of minutes and creates a nice hard seal. It has a thin consistency and is said that it can be used as a nail polish thinner without changing the pigment of the polish. 5 Free.

My sample was lemon scented, so yummy! This dries quite fast, I was surprised this wasn't labeled as a quick dry. Nice and glossy, seals well and is fairly thin as she describes on her site.




BC - Sticky Base Coat
a green beauty! Use as a base coat to create a secure polish bond to the nail while still being flexible enough to avoid chipping and peeling.
The Base is 4-Free.

I tested this out for a few weeks with a few different brands of polish and had good results. My polish didn't chip for 7-10 days on both experiments.




QD - Quick Dry Top Coat
Dries in roughly 30 seconds and forms a full seal in 3 minutes. It is non yellowing and chip resistant, dries completely clear with no purple hue. 5 Free.

This should be called blazing fast, and the glossy one should be called fast. :) Yes, it is quick!

Atomic Polish: Neutral Cream Collection

Atomic Nail Polish is launching four neutral shades September 13!
She also sent her white cream shade to me, so it is included here as well!




H (Hydrogen)
a white creme nail polish. Shown is two coats with Atomic's quick dry topcoat. We all know that white cream polishes are typically streaky and pull at the cuticle while painting it on. This one's formula doesn't pull and was easy to apply. It also stamps well!

Neutrals collection

Al (Aluminum)
This polish totally looks the color of silly putty, leans slightly pink. Shown is two coats with Atomic glossy lemon scented topcoat.





Sc (Scandium)
A slightly lighter shade than Al with a warmer tone. Shown is two coats with Atomic glossy lemon scented topcoat.





Si (Silicon)
A very warm neutral cream shade. Shown in two coats with Atomic's quick dry topcoat.





V (Vanadium)
A medium grey cream. I love a good medium grey, they seem to be kind of hard to find. Shown is two coats with Atomic topcoat.





They also watermarble!
Shown is Scandium and Silicon watermarbled over Hydrogen.




I mentioned Atomic's topcoats and all of these are also shown over their sticky base coat. I'll be reviewing all three of those when I have had a chance to test, so stay tuned for that!

Atomic Polish & Nailart

I was given the opportunity to review a new to me brand that just launched on February 28. All the colors you see here and more are available at the Atomic Polish shop.




Pd (Palladium)
a teal creme nail polish.

Not just any teal cream though, this one is buttery and easy to apply. 2 coats shown with topcoat.




Stamped with AU (Gold)




AU (Gold)
a clear base filled with metallic gold micro flakes.

What a vibrant and sparkly polish, it stamps really well too. Shown is one coat polished and the second coat sponged on to avoid a stroked finish.






C (Carbon) G
a deep glossy black creme nail polish.

Like the teal, buttery and easy to apply. Shown is one coat with no topcoat.




Stamped with AG (Silver)




AG (Silver)
a clear base filled with metallic silver micro flakes

Super shiny and shimmery. Two coats with topcoat shown.





Palladium, Carbon, and Silver watermarbled over Silver. The spread is small for the two creams, but they still work well for this!




O (Oxygen)
a true red creme nail polish.

Shown is two coats with topcoat - definitely a true red, formula a dream to apply.




Oxygen topped with one coat of Platinum






PT (Platinum) S
a clear based topper full of holographic flakes and powder for a scattered effect.

Looks great on its own! Shown is two coats with topcoat.





Overall, I'm very pleased with the product. It was well packaged for shipping and arrived fairly quick after our communication. I noticed the shop is having a 10% off sale when I visited today.
