Lynnderella: "It" Ghoul

I love Lynderella polishes, especially the micro-glitters like "It" Ghoul. This was a Halloween polish but I think it's easy to wear any time of year. Gunmetal is always fashionable right?

I wore two coats with two coats of topcoat for the photos below. It was easy to apply as well, no fancy fishing or brush dabbing. :)

Thanks for visiting! Please share if you enjoyed it. :)

My Birthday and a Meet Up!

Twin Manis and My Birthday Mani!

My birthday is today, September 19th! Yay!!
I met up with Connie Friday and Saturday last week and we did twin manis for the occassion. We both took part in choosing the polishes and this is how it turned out!

I'm calling it my birthday mani because I was still wearing it into the wee hours of Friday so it's my birthday mani for half a day, too!

I hope everyone's Friday is awesome!

We wore a purple holo on our thumb, index and middle finger. Connie's was Llarowe This Girl is on Fire...Help! and mine was Llarowe Toga Toga Toga!

On our ring and pinkies we wore a group custom by Smitten called Pigment of my Imagination. I bought one for Connie and sent it to her after our last meet up to show my appreciation for her visit!

On top of the middle fingers we wore Lynnderella Aquamarine Calm and on our thumbs and ring fingers we wore Lynnderella Magic Fairy Stars.

Simples: Nail Art from Muggle to Mastery

I have joined a new group on Facebook lead by Debbie from The Crumpet blog, its called SIMPLES: Nail Art from Muggle to Mastery. Debbie's aim is to teach various nail art techniques and help us master them. I've been dabbling in nail art but it is quite intimidating so I thought this group would be perfect! She shows one technique per week, and right now we just began week two.

For the first week, the tutorial was for the Accent Nail. I've used Smitten Radiant Orchid for three nails, and then Colors by Llarowe Young Turks topped with Elevation Pata Puffer II as the accent nail. I had a lot of fun choosing the colors and experimenting on a nail wheel for the accent nail. I really like how it turned out!

For the second week, which just began Saturday, the tutuoral is skittle nails! Fun!
For mine, I chose a Memorial Day theme to honor the men and women who've died while serving in our country's armed forces. And while choosing my polishes, I took a look back and 'remembered' some of my older polishes. Index to Pinky: Orly Star Spangled, Lynnderella Snow Angel (an original franken from before she sold polish), China Glaze Dorothy Who, and China Glaze OMG.

I've had a lot fun with this group and would love it if you joined us! You do not need to be a blogger or have a social media presence. Just bring yourself and your polish! :)
