The Addicted to Holos October box has arrived and it's packed full of pretty polishes!
Addicted to Holos is a bi-monthly box featuring holographic polishes from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer, Literary Lacquer, Philly Loves Lacquer, Sweet Heart Polish & The Polish Bar. The boxes are available for purchase via a week-long preorder at the beginning of every other month. The cost was recently reduced to $50 plus shipping.

Philly Loves Lacquer
Taisteal Sábháilte
A coralesque orange linear holo with gold flash and copper shimmer.

A pumpkin orange, right in time for fall. The gold and copper shimmers are pretty but the holo was difficult for me to see. The holo appears to be more scattered and sparse. The formula on this polish was better than most PLLs I've tried in the past. It was fluid and easy to apply. I wore two coats and topcoat.

The Polish Bar
Purple Mist
A medium purple linear holographic with tiny pewter holographic glitter.

Such a stunning polish almost a periwinkle but just enough red to call it purple. This has a metallic and subtle holo finish with a super smooth, easy to control formula. Two coats for opacity

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer
Sepulcher by the Sea
Mint jelly linear holo with gold and pink glass flecks.

I consider this shade more of a sea foamy green than mint since it leans blue. More like the shade of a Tiffany jewelry box. I really enjoyed the sparkle of the glass flecks while wearing this polish. The holo in this one was subtle, but there is definitely a rainbow on the nail. Almost opaque in one coat so I went for two. The formula is nice and easy to apply.

Literary Lacquers
Phoenix In Her Blood
A black cherry linear holo (inspired by Shakespeare's Sonnet XIX).

I love black cherry flavored things and when I saw the description of this polish I craved the Kool-Aid. -giggle- A nice strong linear holo effect, the kind that I love! I wore two coats of this buttery formula.

Sweet Heart Polish
Sugar & Spice
A warm brown linear holographic with a pink flash and copper holographic glitter.

Milk Chocolate, smooth creamy but with sparkles! A glistening dessert, that is this polish. Two easy coats that applied themselves and just look at that sparkle!

Grace-full: Lime Splash and Magenta Sparks

Ella Ann Cosmetics sent a couple of polishes to me from the Grace-Full Effervescent Brights collection to review. These are true to the collection name, in that they are bright and vivid shades with a punch of holo that will make a gal weak in the knees!

xoxoJen's swatch of Gracefull Magenta Sparks and Lime Splash

Lime Splash – a lime linear holo with green-gold flakies which gives a subtle golden shimmer.
I wore two coats with topcoat for the photos, formula is smooth and easy to control and very little cleanup needed. All Grace-full's I've worn so far have this formula which I know I can rely on with their brand.

Magenta Sparks - a magenta linear holo with blue flakies which leaves a subtle blue sheen
Same as the other, I wore two coats with topcoat for the photos, formula is smooth and easy to control with very little cleanup needed.

Ever After Blue Steel Stamping

Blue Steel from Ever After is part of the Ever After Feminine Chic collection which I recently wrote a review for. When I wore Blue Steel I decided to try some nail art stamping over it. Such a beautiful denim-like base with flashes of teals and blues would surely be awesome under a bright design.

I used Vivid Lacquer Plate VL041 with MDU 5 and a candy head stamper. I love the paisley design and how it contrasts with Blue Steel!

The entire Ever After collection will be available 11am central September 25 at the Ever After online store. It's an amazing collection that you won't want to miss!

Ever After: Feminine Chic

Something beautiful this way comes! A fun fall collection with a feminine touch. Rachel from Ever After has created Feminine Chic inspired by fashion runways, fall, and fun.

xoxoJen's bottle collage of Ever After Feminine Chic

Sashay is a baby pink crelly that is opaque in three thin coats and packed with multichrome flakies which gives it a feminine yet edgy look. The formula was very smooth and so easy to control that I had no clean up for this mani.

Atlantis is an enigma of a polish, in a good way! It leans more blue in some lighting and more green in other lighting and sometimes you can see both at the same time! It's quite a magical mermaid style polish. I used two coats and topcoat for photos and didn't want to take this one off!

Threshold got my attention quickly after unwrapping the bottle. It's a beautiful shade of raspberry with gold shimmer, multichrome flakes, and holographic pigment. How'd she get all that in there? Two smooth coats will get opacity and because the brush and formula are so nice, I had minimal clean up.

Cin is a spicy lil copper microglitter polish with purple shimmers and holographic pigment throughout. What a perfect sparkly shade to depict fall leaves! Two coats is all it took to be opaque and the formula was smooth.

Blue Steel stole my heart. It has a fathomless dark grey base with blue flecks and holo pigment. It's quite beautiful in it's own mysterious way. Opaque in two easy coats.

Sweet Heart Polish: Fer Sure

I was in the mood for something fun and a lil shout to summer since fall is here, but the summer weather is sticking around!

Fer Sure, a neon matte glitter topper from Sweet Heart Polish fit the bill! I am wearing this over a dark denim holo polish, as a "hey fall, I know you're there, but you're behind!" feel. I really like how this turned out, the dark base makes those neon shades simply pop! What do you think of this look?

This topper is no longer available for sale, but the Sweet Heart Polish shop has a great selection of other bright toppers to choose from!

Bear Pawlish: Fall With Me

This fall collection from Bear Pawlish is absolutely stunning so I won't waste any more of your time with an intro, let's go!

Buried In the Garden has such depth! I'm lovin this jelly style polish with chrome flakes and holo flair, together they create a complex, yet beautiful polish! I would love to see more in this vein from Bear Pawlish! Two buttery coats and topcoat were worn for photos.

Baby Bears Breath is stunning, not only because of the holo sparkle and purpley shimmer, but also the almost smokey shade of pink in the base. I don't think I've seen anything quite like this before! Just two coats gets you to opacity.

In Love With Bad is pure seduction on the nail. Deep, vampy sultry - it's all that and a bag of chips! Great formula, opaque in one coat; however I used two coats for the sake of photography.

I added a sexy lacy design with plate VL028 from Vivid Lacquer. bow-chicka-wow-wow! (shaking my head at my sillyness!)

Aurwens Violet was inspired by one of Tennessee's favorite flowers, the Dahlia. This beautifully rich shade of violet is my favorite of the collection. The formula is easy to control on the nail which equals very little clean up. It dries to a glossy finish and is opaque in one coat, but darkens with the second coat.
