Sinful Shine: Wisp

I'm prepping to do some stamping and thought I'd do a quick review of Sinful Shine's white called Wisp. Its quite pigmented and gooey/thick so I wore two coats and topcoated it to smooth it out. Its not streaky but the brush is stiff and causes a striping effect where some of the bristles scrape against the nail and pick the polish up. With a better brush and a little thinner, I think this could possibly be the perfect white polish. I have to wonder how it would do for stamping - have you tried it with stamping?

  1. I just saw someone talking about this polish for nail art. I grabbed a bottle when it was on sale a few weeks ago at Walgreens for .99 and I think I want to try to stamp with it now.

    2. Will do. I just did a test stamp over China Glaze Scandalous Shenanigans (really pretty dark blue) and it's pretty amazing. It usually takes white polish a few uses before it gets opaque enough to stamp with.

    3. oh awesome!!! I'm excited to see! I just finished up stamping with konad black and realized that my stamper has pits in it and is causing holes in the design. =/
Time to find a new one I reckon! I really liked it and haven't gotten to use it much. I think the pits were caused by the 'roughing up' technique I followed on a tutorial - its a squishy xl one, time to hit ebay!

    4. I posted to your FB post because I won't get a chance to write anything up for a bit. I wanted you to get to see it. (hope my name change isn't confusing. Didn't realize I had it still saying Wilson for comments)

  2. Its a lovely white but too bad about the brush. Its always nice to find a drugstore staple though and this one looks like a nice one.

    1. I wore them for a day and loved them! My non-swatching hand is still white and I'm thinking I may do this more often!

  4. This is actually my go to white stamping polish!! I've tried others in the SinfulShine line but so far Wisp is the only one I've found that stamps really well.
